„The peaceful house has plenty of room and is in a beautiful area to explore nature. We walked to the falls trail at Ricketts Glen and had bonfires every night.“

„This sweet house is so cozy. Plenty of rooms, comfortable beds, and very welcoming hosts. There are ponds a short walk away and it's very quiet. I wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.“

„We were welcomed with fresh eggs and bread. Melissa was amazing to work with and anything that came up. She addressed quickly. It was on beautiful piece of property, access was great. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but everything is well kept for a 200 year-old house! It was the experience I wanted our family to have!“

„The view was extremely beautiful! We come from a big city and rarely get to spend time in an area where traffic is not heard from the living room. This property is huge and great for a morning or evening walk. We hope to enjoy the beach/pond another time, when it is warmer out. “

„We had a wonderful time at the property. It is much more spacious than the pictures do it justice. The house was ls clean and well organized and K, the property owner was fantastic. Very responsive to questions and even came and plowed and salted while we were there due to the slow and ice storm we experienced. The property is about 25’ from Elk Mountain but the drive is easy and pretty. I would suggest AWD or FWD of going during the winter since many of the roads in that area are snow and ice ...

„Nice place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful views. House is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Nice touch with a spotting scope to see the wildlife out back. Only complaints are, the upstairs gets really hot! The house has AC but it either doesn’t work in the bedrooms upstairs or something is wrong with it. „The host and her husband are very kind and provided a wonderful home and experience. Their hospitality was beyond that of the other rentals I’ve utilized in the past and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful and comfortable stay. „This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night!
