My partner and I had a nice time staying here. The house was very clean and well put together. Access to the lake was down some steps alongside the owners home and sharing a part of their dock. The owners were very nice and let us use some of the equipment on their dock like the kayaks and floats. Overall a great experience and escape from the city.

Memorial Day weekend

We took a couples trip to the lake for Memorial Day, unfortunately we got rained out but we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and the covered patio! The place was cute and clean and hosts were friendly.

This place was great. Only thing is, how close the owners are. If y out want a romantic getaway, this might not be ideal for you. Especially because they will go in and out of the garage that’s below the cottage.

Great Mother's Day weekend!

Girls trip!

Beautiful cozy home! It’s was my best friend’s 50th birthday, we just wanted a place to getaway and relax! We had the best time! It was extremely clean, the Wi-Fi was great, the hot tub was perfect, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We took the golf cart for a ride around the lake and enjoyed the beautiful views!! We will definitely be back!!!

This was a terrific place! Highly recommended. The space was great, clean, cozy. Use of the fire pit and hot tub were enjoyed by all! Neighborhood was nice, plenty of crappie fishing at the dock. Kids had a blast playing on the swing. Definitely on the list to visit again.

Perfect lake house

Owners were so friendly and made our stay feel more personable. Very clean and well kept. We were able to use their pedal boat, kyacks, etc. on the lake. Although we were off electronics for the weekend, (besides using maps and taking photos) I was extremely surprised by the internet reception out there. We had no signal on the way out but had a strong connection at the house even before we hooked up to wifi. Something else I noticed compared to other places we’ve stayed, is that the property was very well stocked! Extra pillows, towels, blankets, toilet paper! Between the lake, hot tub nights, and showers, it was nice having enough towels during our stay without needing to do laundry while we relaxed! We also really liked the golf cart on the property. It was fun to just ride around and explore the area. The firepit was another plus. PLENTY of firewood! We all enjoyed our time out there and loved how the owners welcomed us more like family rather than strangers!

Amazing experience

We had such an amazing time!! The property is beautiful and the owners are great people. Enjoying coffee on the porch while watching deer, fox and listening to the calming sounds of nature was very relaxing. We all had a really fun time in the water! We got to kayak for the first time and it was amazing! We will definitely be returning for another stay!!

Little piece of heaven at grand lake

Loved our stay at blue sky cottage. The house was perfect size for our family of four. The best part was ability to bring our boat and dock it for easy in and out of the lake. Had great time on just the dock with all the toys availabe to use as well. Preston and sharon were amazing hosts!

Just What We Needed!

This is such a cute property nestled in near the lake! We spent time getting some sun on the accessible boat dock, drinking coffee on the balcony, exploring the area on the golf cart, warming up around the fire pit, and soaking in the hot tub. The space was perfect, cozy, and very accommodating! We did dinner the first night at Mooney's Sunset Bar & Grill - amazing burger & fries, and then spent the rest of our stay eating food we brought to cook. The host was out of town with her daughter managing and she was super nice & fun to chat with too! LOVED the whole experience and we will want to come back!!!

Perfect for Family/-Friends

We had a great time!!! The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. We are a regular Vrbo travelers and would rate this place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to to the lake or using the golf cart. Highly recommend!!
