Shame on Hotels.com for even listing this place. And shame for them not protecting their users by refunding themselves. »

« This was our 3rd stay at the Muntham Appartments (6th stay with Torquay holiday Lettings in total) & was fantastic as always. Grant & Adam always make us feel very welcome and valued guests. Our room was spotlessly clean as always and stocked with the essentials, as well as some lovely treats too. « We were a little disappointed with our stay . It was impossible to hang clothes in the wardrobe in Bedroom 1 as it was stacked high with bed linen . Also a lot of bed linen in other wardrobe . The fan in one of the bathrooms was not working resulting in a lot of condensation on the floor making it very slippery . The canisters which may have held tea and sugar were empty . The name on the lockbox has faded . On the plus side it was a great location »

« Amazing view but otherwise left much to be desired. There are about 20 steep steps with narrow treads down to the apartment. Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests. Street parking is a lottery with not sufficient spaces for the large number of apartments. After circling for over half an hour we eventually had no option other than park illegally.Communication with the host was excellent until I pointed out...

« We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village. »
