„Location great; 2 sitting areas and great views of the kangaroos skipping past“

„We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the room with a card from Lane Retreat wishing our 10year old @Buckythefriendlypup a Happy Birthday and enjoy our wine country celebrations. The breakfast selections were excellent. Parking was convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean. We including the poochies enjoyed our stay!“

„Größe des Zimmers, der Balkon“

„The place was lovely but the air-conditioner in both bedrooms needed replacing. The manager did give us a good heater after being cold in both bedrooms on the first night. We needed to leave the door open in the 2nd bedroom to allow the heat to flow through from the living area. “

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners and amenities exceeded our expectations and the owners went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. “

„Such a lovely quiet location in love surrounds to enjoy a break away from the city.“

„Check-in was smooth. The room was as described, but surprisingly small. The AC emitted a lot of humidity, which was quite strange. If you bring your own food, you can eat it at the table outside“

„Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eine Renovierung wäre nicht schlecht... Das eine Bett war eine einzige Katastrophe, zum Glück hatte das Zimmer zwei davon... Alles in allem trotzdem für den Preis ganz ok. Die Lage ist perfekt um Hunter Valleye zu erkunden. Der Service lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. “

„On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. Rooms were not serviced. For $1,000 for two nights, it was definitely not worth the money and would say, was the worst place we’ve stayed in Pokolbin. Very ...

„Nice big house and beautiful view. Perfect for family stay“

„Lovely spot surrounded by nature. What we found strange was that according to hotels.com the booked room was INCLUDING breakfast. However upon arrival we where informed that the breakfast would be 2 x 20 AUD extra, as the breakfast was not mentioned on the booking. I checked on my own receipt from hotels.com and also didn't see breakfast on it. Not a big problem for us, we just drove into the next Cafe in the morning as we aren't huge breakfast eaters anyway. It's just confusing and I suggest ...

„Love this place, such a beautiful spot and owners are so friendly and down to earth. We will definitely be returning.“

„This is the 3rd time i have stayed at the woolshed. Love the accomodation, very clean and everything you need is available.“

„What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest.“
