Amazing stay in beautiful area

Beautiful vacation home

This home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely recommend this property for other families looking to vacation. The owner is very responsive to any questions or concerns. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and he was very kind and welcoming. We loved our stay and will definitely come back at another time.

Family get away!!

Beautiful property

This place was a wonderful escape for our family and friends. We ended up spending most of our time there. Outdoor space was so fun, house was comfortable, and we LOVED exploring the grounds. We ate avocado toast almost every morning and enjoyed some fresh squeezed orange juice! Simon was so responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Lovely home/Incredible vista in beautiful Temecula wine country

My husband and I gathered our adult children and their significant others for Christmas in this beautiful home. Family dinner, holiday gifts and games, and, most importantly, together time was easy and magic here. Simon was an engaged and hospitable host from the very beginning and until check-out. Thank you, Simon! We will stay here again!

Fall family gathering

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this unique property. Why unique - it sits on a ridge with a great view and is surrounded by an avocado farm and an abundance of citrus trees. How wonderful it is to wake up in the morning, sit by the pool in the sunshine and enjoy fresh oranges picked from the nearby citrus trees. We were in town for a family wedding and this was the perfect spot for us. I fully recommend this home.

Pure Perfection

Just gorgeous!

This place was perfect for our group of 6 adults! Spacious and comfortable and room for more! We changed plans just to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and backyard with family. The views are beautiful! We enjoyed delicious guacamole and fresh squeezed citrus juice from the fruits on the property. Simon was a wonderful host who checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We all loved living the California experience here!

Fantastic...with a few suggestions.

First, I want to be clear that this was a fantastic place which was fairly represented by the pictures. It's an older place and, as such, a bit quirky, but if you're looking for a place for a group of adults to forget the world I highly recommend. That said, no place is perfect and the following might affect whether or not it's right for you. First, and probably the only nitpick I have with the description, the place was absolutely not as private as described. Yes, the compound was private, but the guest house balcony looked straight into the main room of this place through a huge window with no treatments. This very much affects the "we are alone" vibes. Second, the owner has chosen to lock the AC to 76 or higher. Every single guest mentioned their sleep being poor as a result of the heat. I suspect that 90% of the time this is a non issue. However, when the lows at 70 it just doesn't have the ability to cool. Third, it might be worth the owner doing an amenity check. There was no soap in the bathroom only shampoo. We had to locate toilet paper in the garage. And despite the pool being a huge feature of the place there were no pool towels. We were instructed to use the house towels. Likewise rhe linens weren't quite big enough to not become unlodged in the middle of the night. All the above said...it wouldn't have changed *our* decision but it might change yours The owner was unbelievably responsive and quite helpful. This is rare.

Breathtaking Hilltop Family Stay

Our family vacation was perfect thanks to Simon! What a great host, from the moment we booked to the very moment we ended our stay. He was very attentive to our questions and had great recommendations for local beaches and wineries. Thankful for his warm hospitality and being patient with all my questions and concerns. We had a 21 month old with us and 8 adults and we all enjoyed ourselves and the yummy fruit basket that was left behind for us by Simon. We booked both the hilltop villa and penthouse guesthouse and both were clean and filled with everything you need. If you are booking a family vacation in the southern San Diego area, there isn't anything quite like this home. With amazing views, a beautiful poolside backyard, and plenty of space for a big group, you won't want to leave this lush oasis. :)

The house and property was amazing for our group. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the quietness of California. The kids loved the pool and hot tub everyday. Simion was perfect with all communications and made the stay great. Hopefully some day we will be back!

Outstanding Property

What a fabulous find this was, were visiting from Scotland for a Business trip. The Villa is nestled in the avocado, citrus grove up in the hills with the most amazing view, nice & tranquil, watching all the wildlife and the hummingbirds feeding on the drinker. Everything as described within the listing, the property was modern, clean, well appointed well stocked with some amenities such as soap, toilet paper etc.... Only the 2 of us staying and slept in the master bedroom, the bed was super comfy and I enjoyed watching the sun rise in the mornings through the groves. Simon & Jodi our hosts were very responsive from start to finish, nice little touches like the chocolates on the pillows and welcome pack. Check in & Out process was a breeze. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back again.
