Übernachten Sie an einem der einzigartigsten Orte im Big Bear Valley. Unsere wunderschöne BerghĂŒtte befindet sich direkt gegenĂŒber der KĂŒste des Big Bear Lake und hinter einem Berg des riesigen San Bernardino National Forest. Wenn Sie dem Stress der Stadt entfliehen möchten, ist unsere "Alpine Lake Cabin" nicht viel besser.

Das Haus besteht aus zwei Schlafzimmern, einem Bad mit Platz fĂŒr bis zu sechs Personen und einem Parkplatz fĂŒr zwei Fahrzeuge. Es verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche, Holzkamin, Sat-TV, Holzkohlegrill und einen atemberaubenden Blick von den meisten Zimmern in der Kabine. Schlafzimmer eins hat ein französisches Bett, Schlafzimmer zwei hat zwei Einzelbetten sowie ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer.

Wir empfehlen diese HĂŒtte fĂŒr Naturliebhaber, kleine Familien und private Paare. Die HĂŒtte wurde an einer erhöhten Stelle am Berg gebaut, um die schöne Aussicht auf den See zu maximieren. Aus diesem Grund gibt es mehr als 25 Stufen auf der Treppe von der Einfahrt zur HaustĂŒr.

Great place right near the lake, cozy cabin perfect size for my Family of 4. The host were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay, they even let us check in early, which we greatly appreciated. we will definitely be coming back to the spot hopefully in the winter specially because it’s no more than a 10 minute drive from the town. Highly satisfied!!

Cute house with lake view

The house was cute, the view was nice, but the access to the water wasn’t actually there. The neighbor told us all the waterfront that you could climb down to was private so we still had to drive into the village to enjoy it. My main issue were the rules upon checking out- I always leave my rentals cleaner than I arrived, but the host had some intense rules/warnings posted about all of the incurring fees if we didn’t do everything their way. When paying a lot for a small home and including a cleaning fee, it was far from inviting the way these reminders were written. I also must have missed this online, but even though there are two spots for cars, only one is allowed for use and the other incurred a 150 fee. It was a cute, very small home with a great view for relaxing, but otherwise inconvenient lake access and very unwelcoming verbiage. I would not rent here again.

This is my second time staying at this location, first time during the summer. It's on the opposite side of all the hustle & bustle. Being able to walk across the street and touch the water this time (last time was winter). The kids had the best time and just a short drive to easier hikes as well as the Alpine Slides. I would definitely recommend, great spot.

Perfect Last Min Trip

We very much enjoyed our stay. We've never stayed on this side of the lake and not regret it. The place itself was just perfect for our family. Right across from the water with amazing views from the huge deck. They were very accommodating hosts, would absolutely book here in the future.

Nightmare, i wish I could give this place ZERO starts

Absolutely Horrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs!If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would! This was by far the worst cabin I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the listing was completely misleading.First, the place was filthy—dust everywhere, stains on the furniture, and a horrible musty smell that never went away. The floors felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the bathroom was disgusting. We even found hair in the shower and sink, which was beyond gross.Second, the cabin was falling apart. The heater barely worked, leaving us freezing at night, and the water pressure was terrible—sometimes the hot water didn’t even work! The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Not to mention, the walls were so thin that we could hear every single noise from outside and the neighboring cabins.On top of that, the customer service was awful. We tried contacting the host about these issues, but they either ignored us or took forever to respond. When they finally did, they were completely unhelpful and rude.Oh, and don’t even get me started on the false advertising. The photos made it look cozy and modern, but in reality, it was outdated, dirty, and barely livable. They also claimed there was Wi-Fi, but the signal was so weak it was useless.Overall, this was a nightmare of a stay, and I

We absolutely loved staying at this home. It was so peaceful and comfortable. We brought our own outdoor chairs which worked out amazingly because we spent most of our time outside on the beautiful deck. The heater worked well and we were impressed with how many extra blankets were available. Definitely want to go back to this quaint little home.

We spent most of our time out on the deck watching the sunrise, eating meals and just enjoying the view. Lovely cabin that had everything we needed. We got to bbq the first night and I was able to cook homemade Lasagna the next night. I hope to start again soon.

Beautiful location with a stunning view of the lake and sunrise. In the peak of summer, it was a bit hot in the cabin at night (no A/C), but we managed with the many fans provided by the owners. Zero complaints. Highly recommend.

The property was disappointing. The host doesn't mention the long flight of staircase to get to the cabin which is very inconvenient. The interior of the cabin is very old and not enough heating so it's very cold in the rooms. I don't recommend this place if you have children. I give this property under average at best.

Cozy cabin

We loved this cabin overlooking Big Bear lake. The view was the best part for sure! The place was very clean, and though it is cold outside this time of year, the cabin has plenty of heaters and blankets. The lack of wifi / internet access was kind of buried in the listing so take note (we thought we read the listing thoroughly but somehow we missed that!) and the cell service isn’t great either, so if you need to do work or any video calls, this is a place best suited to someone who plans to completely unplug. Fortunately we downloaded a bunch of movies before we came to the cabin, since we could not stream any movies (there aren’t many playable DVDs.) The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, but there was no cooking oil or salt and not much coffee, and the nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away (there are some small markets and liquor stores about 10 mins away). So plan accordingly! Other than that the place was lovely, we really enjoyed using the fireplace and walking to a nearby fishing area. Would stay here again!

This is a great location with a stunning view of the lake. The best part of the house is a huge balcony looking onto the lake. Extremely clean and the host was very responsive. FYI - Apple Maps tells you it’s on the opposite side of the road.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

The cabin is old but too be expected based on the listing photos. Check-in was standard as with any other VRBO. however the minute we walked in the house there were several oil diffusers in the house making a very strong smell. We ended up moving all of them outside and then understood why. The cabin smelled musty after we moved the diffusers. That wasn’t a deal breaker but it was not pleasant. The deal breaker is when we were washing dishes after putting out kids to bed the first night (4 month old and 2 year old). I walked by the water heater closet and smelt something like unburnt gas or very poor ventilation. I opened the closet to see if there was a problem and the amount of fumes that came out made me cough. We thought there might be a gas leak of some sort so we texted the overnight emergency number. We were told to leave the cabin, this is was about 11 at night and they were going to call the gas company to come check on the residence. At this point, I made the decision to pack my family up and drive home as we were not comfortable staying in the cabin, it was high 30 degrees outside and I wasn’t going to keep my family waiting in the car until a gas company technician arrived. No ETA was given by the emergency contact and it’s fair to say it would be hours until someone arrived. Cabin with a view

This is an absolutely gem of a cabin. For a true cabin feel in big bear, STAY HERE. everything is clean, well thought out, tiny details thought of. The view is STUNNING. Woke up to catch the sunrise both mornings, saw a juvenile bald eagle gliding over the lake. Beautiful views of the night stars. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. Close enough to everything to not feel like it’s a journey, far enough to be able to enjoy the serene peacefulness of Big Bear Lake. WILL be staying here again!

Aka Rocking Chair Chalet

Well It was a pleasant stay except the cabin is dated with too many rocking chairs (4) and Too many decor pillows. Not aware of all the stairs with toddlers, Deck needs painting and no nice patio furniture to relax in, Full size bed in one room was not comfortable, sunken on side. Snow scene in ad of cabin is deceptive as looked beautiful but it’s dated. Stars and cost not Equivalent! Best is beautiful view of lake!!

Wonderful View!

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this property! The view from the deck is absolutely beautiful and serene. I woke up every morning early to see the sunrise over the water. I would suggest since the view is by far this property's biggest assett, that they invest in some decent deck furniture. There were only white plastic chairs on the deck to sit on. In my opinion this would greatly add to people's enjoyment of this rental. The two bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The bed off from the living space, however was uncomfortable. We also had an issue with the water pressure being very low...HOWEVER, the shower pressure was good. The kitchen and bathroom sinks and toilet have very low water pressure. I would most definitely stay here again! It was very cozy...and the view and serenity of the location alone would make me want to return! Thanks for a great stay!

The driveway was covered in 2 1/2’ of snow. As was the stairs leading up to the door. I drove for hours and arrived late at night only to find I couldn’t park my truck in the driveway. Then I had to stomp my way through the snow to bring my belongings up the slippery stairs. I couldn’t park in the driveway or park in the street for fear of a snowplow hitting my truck. I had to spend an hour trying notch out enough area from the driveway area to get my truck off the road enough to not get hit. If this is how the owner/property management treat renters I’ll tell everyone I know to avoid this property like a virus.

Best get away with a view

This property is exactly what is listed and more. You go there to stay with a view and it helps that everything is within 15mins drive. It’s comfortable and fully equipped. The small touches of leaving out toiletries, kids’ milk chocolate and such were endearing. We appreciated and enjoy our stay.
