Except the main bling in the bedroom opened up but we could not shut it. It was also really dirty and full of dust. The blind in the kitchen was also really dirty, covered in grease and dust too. « I booked this for my elderly aunt and uncle who were struggling to find somewhere to stay. It was exactly what they needed and more. They loved the gadgets but would have loved a guide book on how to use the oven, microwave and Ninja kettle. My uncle couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was too low for him so he had to sit in a hard backed chair. He is 86. They also found some damage on the inside of the wardrobe when they were packing up to go but no record of it , so they recorded it in a book...

« This wasn't the most comfortable or homely stay I have had at The Bay at Filey. The apartment is very basic and not homely. I would say it is adequate, with basic seating, minimal crockery and dark furnishings, which are a little depressing. It was very clean and tidy. There was no mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer. A strong smell of curry, which after the windows were opened, still stayed unfortunately. There was a lot of flies inside this property. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay. »

« Beautifully maintained and equipped first floor apartment with plenty of parking spaces on the doorstep. Granddaughter was most impressed with the size of the television screen. Definitely didn't need my glasses on. Well equiped kitchen which meant we didn't miss anything from home. The on site shop supplies essentials but don't rely on it for fresh fruit and vegetables. We had fun creating memories. We loved the walk across the beach to share our bucket full of ice cream at The Beach Cafe. ....

« Outside of school holidays, so very quiet and peaceful. Friendly people to talk to, though and someone told me how to access the cliff top walk to Hunmanby Gap which was a great walk to the beach cafe for breakfast, even when the tide was up.
