Whilst the view is lovely, the house is somewhat lacking. The oven didn’t work, as the seal was broken, the kitchen is poorly stocked and the house was very dusty and dirty in cupboards and under the beds.

Managed to spot humpback, whales and dolphins while sitting on the deck while drinking a coffee. Lovely furnishings and comfy beds. We had a wonderful few days here. Property is looking a bit tired in a few places and would benefit from having instruction manuals on how to work the oven, heating/aircon systems etc. also, check-in process and retrieving security bond from rental company all a bit laborious and complicated.

Great value without sacrificing quality.If you’re looking for a serene, family-friendly escape with stunning views and all the comforts of home, Ocean’s Edge Retreat is the place. Amazing views straight off the cliffs, and if you're lucky enough to stay during the humpback migration season, you've got front rows seats to the best show in town! We were lucky enough to witness so many humpbacks passing by, blowing, breaching, slapping fins and tails and just generally having fun. No better spot to stay.The house itself was very comfortable, with the lounge and kitchen positioned perfectly to take in the view, so even if it's raining, you can still enjoy the location. Just be prepared to bring your own pantry staples such as glad wrap/baking paper as only tea/coffee/sugar was supplied. Also, if you request to have the twin beds made into a double, make sure you confirm before you arrive to save any hassles for both you and the housekeepers!Loved staying here for the humpbacks :)
