Charming A-frame cabin with AC in beautiful Flagstaff

Tucked into a quiet little canyon in Kachina Village, Type-A-Frame is an adorable, comfortable forest retreat surrounded by pines, Stellar Jays, and frequent wildlife visitors. The home has been thoughtfully updated in a mid-century modern way that honors her original A-frame character.
We’re just 10 minutes to downtown Flagstaff, 25 minutes to Snowbowl, and an easy day trip to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, Cottonwood and several wineries. Multiple trails are within walking distance. The nearby Shell (Pic & Run) has great coffee, drinks, a Subway, and local-favorite breakfast burritos.

Main level includes a renovated kitchen with dining for 4–6, WiFi, two streaming TVs, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and the sweetest little fireplace (a log is provided but bring extra if you’d like a longer fire).
Sleeping layout:
• King bed + private bath in the upstairs loft
• Queen bedroom downstairs w/TV
• Double bed in the oversized laundry room
• Full downstairs bathroom with everything you’ll need
Front and back balconies are perfect for stargazing and bird watching. The front deck features patio seating, a propane fire pit, and a Spirit Genesis grill with propane ready for use.
We have heat and A/C. No ceiling fans, but opening the windows in the evening brings in the most beautiful mountain breeze. Because we’re in a small canyon near a creek, it can feel a bit cooler here than in town.

Interior stairs are steep and the indoor and outdoor balconies are not suitable for young children. No children under 10 due to safety concerns. Children 10+ allowed with supervision.
No pets allowed. We are dog owners ourselves and have golden doodles with very little dander. The cabin is professionally cleaned between stays.
Driveway notes: Parking is on a slight incline and the driveway is shared with our neighbors. You’ll cross a small culvert bridge over the creek to access the property. In snow, 4-wheel drive or chains are required.
