Our stay unfortunately did not go as expected. We experienced delayed access to the property at check-in, which was frustrating after travel. Communication from the host was also conducted outside of the booking platform, which made things less clear and harder to manage. We had to contact VRBO multiples times. After our stay, a damage claim was submitted against us for items we did not take or damage, including an alleged missing sheet set and a couch pillow (we would NEVER steal!) . This was disappointing, especially given the earlier issues we encountered. Overall, we recommend ensuring all communication stays within the platform and clarifying expectations ahead of time if you choose to book here. Also do yourself a favor and get the insurance!
