Die Wohnung liegt in einer der saubersten Gegenden der Innenstadt von Florenz, genannt Oltrarno, in einem Viertel mit vielen Restaurants, Kunsthandwerksgeschäften und zu Fuß zu allen wichtigen Monumenten und Kirchen.
Was es einzigartig und atemberaubend macht, ist die besondere Lage, direkt am Ufer des Flusses Arno und mit einem unglaublichen Blick auf den Ponte Vecchio, nur wenige Meter entfernt. Alle Wohnbereiche, einschließlich des Esszimmers, blicken auf den Fluss und den "Ponte Vecchio", während sich die Schlafzimmer auf der anderen Seite des Apartments befinden.
Es gibt 2 Doppelzimmer und ein Einzelzimmer, jedes mit eigenem Badezimmer, alle mit Dusche. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und 2 Schlafzimmer. Es gibt eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine, Trockner und Waschbecken.
Alle Nebenkosten sind im Mietpreis enthalten. Die einzige zusätzliche Gebühr, die beim Check-in in bar zu entrichten ist, ist die Kurtaxe, die 3,00 Euro pro Person und Nacht bis zu 7 Tagen beträgt.

Super Lage, super Gastgeber

Wir (5 Erwachsene) haben sehr schöne Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht: Der Blick auf den Ponte Vecchio ist einzigartig, man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit erreichen und kann gleichzeitg das noch ursprünglich gebliebene Viertel Oltrarno genießen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Der Gastgeber Filippo hat sich super um uns gekümmert, sofort geantwortet und gute Tipps gegeben. Vielen Dank auch für seine großzügige Ein- und Auscheckregelung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Great central place to stay

Fabulous location looking over the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. The living room is very spacious and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Each bedroom has an ensuite and there is a laundry with a washing machine and dryer as well as iron, ironing board and folding clothes horse so you don’t need to use the dryer for everything. Massimo was very prompt in responding to any queries and we were met at the time arranged for check in. There are heavy shutters on all the windows which minimise any outside noise. The street below the bedrooms can be a bit noisy at night but didn’t keep any of us awake. If you are a very light sleeper I would suggest ear plugs. I stayed here for a month with my very elderly parents (90 and 94) and it was perfect. They had no problems with access - the lift was small (as expected in Florence) but fitted 2 people and 3 suitcases with no problems. My parents were able to go out sight seeing in the mornings and rest/read in the lovely, light living room in the afternoons with a lovely water view. There was plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen had plenty of equipment for family meals and the dining table seats six people. Plenty of glasses but a few more mugs and wine glasses would have been good! We coped just fine though. This apartment was perfect for use and would also be fine for 2 couples. The bedrooms are slightly separated which gives a bit of privacy. My adult children stayed a couple of nights and there was plenty of room.

Wonderful apartment on the Arno

We had a wonderful time in Florence. Perfect location, loved being on this side of the Arno. Nightly music on the Ponte Vecchio, surrounded by shops, food, and easy walking distance to all the fabulous things to see in Florence. Check in and check out was super easy.

Beautiful, convenient location

Fantastic location! Convenient to sights, grocery store, restaurants, and bars - even a British pub. Even though we arrived about 2100, the host met us at the front door of the apartment building, assisted with getting our luggage up one floor to the apartment, and showed us how everything worked. The apartment was clean and very functional. Check out was easy. Best part? Watching the river go by and looking at the Ponte Vecchio bridge from one of three Juliet balconies. The building common space is beautiful but not opulent. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Location!

Traveling with my husband, sister, brother-in-law and their 8-year old we were thrilled to find this lovely apartment so close to many landmark locations and restaurants in an energetic neighborhood! Massimo was a wonderful host who was very helpful and great to coordinate with.

Great space and wonderful location

The location of this apartment cannot be beat. It is very large and roomy space. We all really like the Oltrarno area and glad we stayed in this neighborhood. The views of the river and of Ponte Vecchio were just beautiful. We loved hearing the music from the bridge and the liveliness on the streets at all hours. This is what we were looking for our week long stay in Florence. Massimo met us upon arrival and is very helpful.

Amazing view

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The view was spectacular and you could truly feel the vibe if the city with the glass doors open. Often during our stay, there was spontaneous live music on the Ponte Vecchio and we could enjoy it from the apartment. The bedrooms back up to the street but we were not bothered by street noise. The beds were comfortable and there is a stove top coffeemaker. Lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries close and all of the attractions were close and walkable including the train station. Amenities include a clothes dryer, not just clothes washer which was great as other properties we stayed in only had washers. We visited in October, and while the temperatures were very pleasant, it was humid enough for clothes to take longer than a day to dry making the dryer very helpful. Over all would love to stay again !

It was close to the craziness of the tourist area but right up against a quaint neighborhood we have stayed at and loved many times. Perfect location for experiencing Florence

Massimo, the owner, met us, my husband, 2 sons and their girlfriends, all adults over 40 when we got there and showed us around. It was such a beautiful location with windows that opened to small balconies that allowed the music from the nearby Ponte Vecchio to waft in. The apt. was spacious and the only complaint would be the air conditioning in the second bedroom did not work right but otherwise you can not beat the experience of feeling immersed in the beautiful city of Florence.

This vrbo is located very close to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizzi Gallery, and many others all within walking distance. The accomodations were very nice and comfy. Easy communication with Massimo, the host. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our time in Florence.

Unforgettable Florence

Massimo and the property were awesome. Lots of space for our family to spread out. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It was in a perfect location to walk to everything we wanted to see and it was quite close to the train station. There was a grocery store, bakery and restaurants within the block. It is a great place for families and the view of the Ponte Vecchio was outstanding!

This place is amazing. Everything as listed and a great host. But really, the location can’t be beat. We actually got to see the start of the Tour de France as it crossed the Ponte Vecchio Bridge from the front room! Our host was gracious and informative and helpful.

Apartment was exactly as promised. Beautifully situated on the Arno with a nearby view of Ponte Vecchio. Only 10-15 minute walk from Duomo. Excellent host!

Great location

Massimo was very kind and quick to reply. Check in was easy and the location is amazing. The place is a little dated but considering the cost it makes sense. If you come when you don’t need AC constantly running, it’s probably a very great stay. For us, we had some AC issues and the one in the main bedroom was really harsh and had a smell that was tough. I bought an air freshener and dryer sheets to help. Once we opened the door and had a fan blowing into the living room it was a bit better. Other than that, there was a bit of a smell from the shower in the main bedrooms connecting bathroom and the wifi doesn’t work in the bedrooms and you can’t get regular service well. Again, these aren’t deal breakers and if it’s not very hot, you probably won’t have to many issues. The view is amazing so give it a look.
