« I booked the La Mada Hotel as it was advertised as an airport hotel and decided being close to the airport was a good safe choice for my first four nights in Nairobi, Kenya. The hotel is 10 miles from the airport and their shuttle is $50 which I was not aware of. But once I was able to get an Uber, the cost was KSH1600 (about $14) which took me directly to the hotel. I was very happy when I arrived to the hotel as I went through security and the hotel is located in the middle of a forest. ...

Very good breakfast, nice green garden, and I felt it was easy to ask for things (for example, I moved rooms to get a better internet connection) and it was no problem. Plus, it's unbelievably affordable. I felt safe, at ease, and rested very comfortably here. Highly recommend. »
