« First of all the 'positive' aspect. The property is on North St so close to the Old Course for golfers and within easy walking distance of the beach and shops and there is a very pleasant walled garden at the back. There was a breakdown in communication regarding our room location, however Jasmine sorted this immediately. Jasmine & Harris were amazing as were all restaurant staff. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gilvenbank Hotel and would highly recommend it. There are plenty of well lit parking spaces and it is lovely and quiet. The staff are so friendly, helpful and very cheery, including the house cleaners, waitresses, receptionists and bar staff. We stayed in room 4 on the upper floor and loved it as it's very spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. Our breakfasts and meals at night were so tasty and we loved the large portions.
