The communication from the owners was wonderful from booking and during out stay. There was immediate communication and expectations set before our arrival which made us feel more prepared ahead of time. The house was large enough to accommodate our party, though the Bunk Bed room is very tight, so it isn't the best options if you have a lot of adults. Better if children are in attendance to occupy the bunk bed rooms! The house was equipped with enough supplies, towels, toiletries, pots/pans/dishes and other cooking items. I do suggest grocery shopping ahead of time as this is in a very secluded location! It was nice to have our food available without having to go out.I would say that the house could have been a bit cleaner. There were dead bugs on the ground in the bedrooms and there seemed to have been an ant problem. I understand being in the country, you are bound to have bugs, but an active ant problem (crawling on walls etc) can be mitigated with frequent bug spraying on a quarterly basis. We did also have an issue with the oven not working (this was not the owners fault) that could not be fixed during our stay. It made cooking a bit frustrating with a constant beeping noise and needing to pivot and use the grill. There was also a ton of air freshener in the bathrooms, so if your sensitive to smells - unplug them all!If you are looking for a spacious house in a quiet, secluded, area then this place is the perfect option! great for children and outdoor nature hikes. if you have a lot of adults - i'd reconsider or be sure to know the sleeping arrangements!Thank you for a nice stay!
