Unfortunately, the condition of the property and the number of ongoing repairs significantly disrupted our entire stay.Beginning the first night, we were repeatedly awakened at approximately 4:30 AM by an extremely loud buzzing and vibrating noise coming from the guest bathroom plumbing connected to the sink faucets, even though the faucets were not in use. The noise was loud enough to startle us awake from sleep and occurred in the middle of the night each morning at 4:30am for more than two weeks. Multiple plumbing visits were required, and the problem continued for 17 days before it was finally identified as being related to the sprinkler system activating early each morning in combination with faulty sink fixtures. The repeated early-morning disturbance caused ongoing sleep disruption during a significant portion of our stay.The other guest bathroom was not usable upon arrival. The bathtub had a rubber covering that had bubbled in the center, creating an extremely slippery and unsafe surface. The plumber removed it and temporarily placed a tarp in the tub until resurfacing could be done. The resurfacing process created hours of loud construction noise and strong chemical fumes throughout the house. The fumes lasted for about seven days despite our purchasing three floor fans and keeping all windows open. Our three-year-old granddaughter, who has asthma, could not sleep in her bedroom due to the fumes and had to sleep on cushions on our bedroom floor.
