Very clean, resort staff friendly. My biggest complaint is the surprise resort fee. You are charged upfront for parking, gym, pool, even if don’t use it. Four in our group and we were hit up for almost 600.00. You pay rent, VRBO fee and resort fee.Kitchen needs restocking,The kitchen has an oven, but no pan for the oven. A few pots an old scratched up Wok and small scratched up pan. Toaster didn’t work, but found one in cabinet.If you are going to ask to start a load of towels before leaving, then you should leave detergent.AC was not working properly, quick response after calling, and fan was turned off, put still freezing on one side , other side okay.Hair dryer with only one prong, but found another.Suggestion, use bottom sheet for platform bed not for king with 18” thick mattress.

The unit was clean and just as described. Communication was not prompt. I received an email that stated check in and check out was 10 am for both. Check in wasn't until 4pm and communication was so slow that we waited with groceries in our car because they took forever to verify times. They stated they never have 10am check in but i do have an email to prove what was stated. I started asking about late check out the 24 hours in advance that they asked for and that was not confirmed in a timely matter either. We were told we could get late check out at 3pm and arrived back to our room at 1030am to find cleaners in our room with our belongings there. They were upset and said they couldn't get communication with property owners either. The cleaning company was so kind and so was the staff at The W. The W was not notified either of our late check out so they had to apologize and give us new keys as ours stopped working due to the lack of communication from the property owners to the hotel as well. The owners did not charge for the late check out as a compensation which was kind, but the lack of communication made the entire event stressful.

Great location, dated interior

We enjoyed the location of this property as well as the layout of the condo. The views were nice and the balconies were lovely to watch the sunset on. We did feel that the furnishings were pretty dated, including the washing machine which had a shredded inside barrel with plastic shards coming out, we didn’t feel comfortable using it. There were other things, like the light switch for the bathroom is outside of the bathroom, behind the sliding glass door. So not convenient. The sliding doors separating the bedrooms don’t close completely. The fridge was great, the kitchen was well stocked, and we loved that there were beach towels included. This is in a great part of FLL, walking distance to the party area but in the quiet area for night time.

Lux stay in the heart of Fort Lauderdale

Large, clean modern space with easy access to beach (and complimentary chairs/towels) and pool. Great mexican restaurant in the W itself. Unit was totally quiet and we didn’t hear other residents or street noise. Would definitely stay again!

Florida Respite

The property was exactly as described by VRBO. There were three adults and a toddler who stayed here and there was nothing additional that we needed. There were water toys in the closet which our toddler loved. The condo was lovely and the location was close to anything that we needed to buy. The close proximity to pools and beach made it super easy to bring the little one. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would rent this place again!

Great Beach Location and W amenities

We stayed for 5 nights in February. The location is great- the W Residences are right in the middle of a great stretch of Ft Lauderdale Beach. There are plenty of restaurants close by to walk or drive to. The Sapphire Suite was directly off the elevator but it was very quiet. The pictures are pretty accurate but I would say things look a little more worn in person, nothing to make us not want to stay again, but some things probably could use an update. The kitchen is moderately stocked - a little light in pans and silverware. There was a starter pack of coffee and spices which was nice. Publix is less than a mile away for groceries. The jewel of the place is the beach, the amenities and the service. We had great service from the checkin, to the valet, the bar, to the beach staff! The resort fee includes 2 beach chairs and umbrella, but they also give you plenty of towels, water and sunscreen is available! We didn’t use the resident pool while there as we are beach people and based on our reservation, we were unable to use the main pool at the hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Place was perfect for us. Had no issues. Clean and everything as described. There were even extra beach towels and some beach toys for the kids. Master bath layout is a bit strange but glad it had a washer dryer. Balcony is great and the location is perfect at end of the building closest to the ocean.

Nice apartment with the best location

I loved the apartment. It had everything I needed for my stay. It had a very nice view, comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen. Amazing location with many different restaurants. My favourite was Takato.
