Overall, I was pleased with my stay. My favorite part of my stay was the friendly neighborhood peacock that would come visit our front door! There were a few things I wasn’t as satisfied with.1. Company owned - One thing that always makes my stays at rentals so much better is the host behind it all! I always loved the idea of house rentals because you get to step away from corporations and step into someone’s loved home, even if it is just their vacation home. They put care into the homes and you can tell. Unlike my stay here. I’m in construction management and I can tell that whoever did the remodel for the house, didn’t put enough care into what they’re doing.2. “Pool house” bedroom - I’m guessing in the future the company wants to create the VRBO into two separate units, because the door that connects the pool house bedroom to the rest of the house has been permanently closed off. Which is fine, but my main issue was with bed itself. I personally love sleeping on a firm bed but the mattress in that room was extremely hard. As well as the pillows, they were thin and stiff.3. Patio - The patio had a tarp/cover installed above for rain and what not. But I wasn’t pleased with the middle of the tarp being ripped and hanging. At that point it would’ve been nicer if the whole thing was ripped off.Even though I wasn’t very happy with the host being a company owned situation, the people who were assigned for my stay were great. They were quick to respond, very nice and helpful.
