Overall, I really enjoyed the 9 days we stayed in the Corinthia George Bay hotel. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The pools overlooking the sea are just fantastic, clean, and the restaurants and bar nearby that belong to the hotel are great for getting a snack while lounging. They were also reasonably priced and good quality. The rooms were clean, bright and spacious. I want to give a special mention to the housekeeping which actually came twice a day and at night left a little chocolate on our pillows. They did a fantastic job. The location of the hotel is good, too. We liked that it was a little hidden away in the cove of the sea and it was quiet during the night. The mall opposite the hotel is completely new and some of the restaurants around the area were incredible (honestly) at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, during the time we were there, we experienced a trial fire alarm 3 times which were at somewhat inconvenient times like 8am and 11:30pm. I would still rate the hotel 5* because of the way the staff handled the situation. I hope by now they sorted it out. Everything else was honestly great and I am actually planning to come back sometime. It is the perfect place to explore Malta from and if your priority is having a relaxed 5* experience and wind down, this hotel is perfect. Forgot to mention the Dee Spa where I had a one of the best massages of my life. They are very capable there and offer good prices, too. Thanks for everything!
