Unit was very clean and comfortable. The entry door had about 1/2” gap all around and we were never able to enter without putting the code in at least twice. We were also disappointed to find out that the water was not consumable which meant buying several jugs of purified drinking water.

Everything was spot on. If I had to be critical about anything it would be the detail in the cleaning. Baseboards were a little dusty and some of the “clean” dishes in the cabinets still had food on them.

Lovers Key

We had a wonderful stay. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the pool and loved that Flippers restaurant, while not affiliated with the resort was so easy and convenient. Our view of the water made us feel like we were in paradise. We also enjoyed seeing all the sea life. It was an easy drive to Naples and Sanibel which we loved exploring. Overall, it was perfect for us.

Great place!

Beautiful spot, great view.....only issue we had is the way the building is positioned there really isn't sun by the pool until around noon. I'm sure that changes as the year goes on though.

We enjoyed our stay near Lover’s Pass in every way … darn the fog! The property was pleasant, and the owners we met were friendly and helpful.Next time, I’ll put in a good word with the weather forecaster!

Unexpected remodel

Our unit was newly renovated, and we were the first guests. Some things needed 'tweeking', and our manager was always available and quick to respond and handle the issues. The ad listing statement was not accurate/updated. And the major remodeling of the building was a surprise. It was due to the damage from Hurricane Ian. But, inspite of that, we had a wonderful time. The location was great, as were the views. We would stay there again.

Wonderful

Our second trip to Lover’s Key and we’re planning our next one. The property is clean, well-maintained and very comfortable. You can explore the numerous activities near the resort or just lounge at the pool. The abundance of wildlife kept us in awe all week.

Great Lovers Key Location

The condo was very clean, beautifully furnished, well equipped. Property manager very easy to deal with. Great view of the water. Great location, away from the congestion in Fort Myers Beach area, but close enough to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to Bonita Springs and Naples. Nice pool and restaurant on the property. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation and would definitely return.

Great for Short Notice

My spouse and I were able to secure this property at the last minute due to a schedule conflict. The property was very nice, very clean and we enjoyed the area! The pool area was a very nice amenity and definitely the highlight of the property. The only concern was that the room was HOT and we were asked to not turn the thermostat down. Understandable with the Florida weather but we were uncomfortable at night due to the way the sun hits the condo and heat retains inside. Since we were out and about often, this was only an issue cooling down at night. Definitely a great spot due to the short notice of our plans changing.

Celebrating my 60th BD

My husband and I spent 6 nights at this property for my BD. The condominium is in a great location on Estero Bay. We were very happy with the location and amenities of the property. The access to the beach was also nearby. Despite this property being built in the 1980’s it was immaculate and well kept. The condominium which is privately owned # 401 was very inviting based in its beach decor. The bed was very comfortable, it was nice to have a full size kitchen , a fridge with an ice maker and most of the commodities of home. We did find that the disposer was not working , but we did report it. A few items that would have made our stay a bit more enjoyable would have been a cutting board , steak knives and a blender. My husband and I love to grill so the added bonus of a grill was great although we ended up buying steak knives which we brought home with us. We also bought and left 2 wine glasses in the property as there was only one. One of the downfalls of the condominium is that it is located right around the corner of the waste chute. At times the odor was unbearable . Other than that, we had a very nice stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a little Weekend getaway! We went for a relaxing weekend and that was exactly what we got. We had such an amazing and experience staying at Lover Key Resort. The pool was great. The restaurant/bar next to the hotel was very good. It was a little way out from time square but we did not mind at all. Check in with the owner was easy. Instructions for check in were sent out the day before. Room was extremely clean and accommodating. Kitchen was fully equipped. We will l be staying here again. Thanks for such a wonderful experience

Great view! Loved everything but the bed.

This was a great condo with a spectacular view of the water and forest areas. Comfortable inside, nice rooms, but the bed was on a creaky frame and covered with a plastic mattress pad. I rustled, squeaked, and sweated all night! Of course one wants to protect the mattress, but maybe a cloth mattress cover could be put on over the waterproof one so guests don't feel the plastic right under their sheets. I have to say, though, that hiking in the state park nearby and swimming in the ocean as well as the beautiful pool more than made up for the bed issues.

relaxing get away

We enjoyed the park across the street very much and the restaurant next door was so convenient as well as delicious. The pool never became too crowded. Overall we had a great time.
