This was our 6th stay at Water’s Edge Resort and the first time with this company and in this unit. Here are all the things that they do right: The unit was clean and resembled the pictures. All the appliances and lights worked. Unit was stocked with plenty of towels, dish soap, and laundry pods. The views are perfect. They also offer a smart tv in the living room. And personal lights in the bunks which our kids liked. The kitchen was well stocked.Here are some things in their control that they can work on: The doorstop has a loose screw and doesn’t work. There is no chain on the door. There is very little storage space. They could use an actual dresser in the master. They have a tv cabinet in there now, but it’s not very deep and offered limited space. They also have space for another tall dresser in the master where the stand up fan is. The shower could use a caddy for more space for your toiletries. There is not a single hook on any of the doors or anywhere in the unit. We use those so much for bathing suits and towels and our bathrobes. More hangers would be great since storage space is so limited. Two outlets in the kitchen didn’t work, but that wasn’t a huge deal and the host responded quickly to it. There is also no full length mirror anywhere in the unit. Most of the dishes are top shelf only or hand wash only. It’s a great unit, with some small additions, it will be one of the best there. Beware of the internet though. Cox had an outage almost the entire time.
