This property is beautiful and had everything we needed for our week vacation. It's in a great location. The location is on the bayside of the property but the gulf side is easy to get to. Our teenagers loved the access to the pools and lazy river and the included hot tub on the roof.

Wonderful Anniversary trip

We spent 4 lovely nights in the lap of luxury, enjoying every moment of our stay!! Even though the temps were beginning to cool, the hot tub kept us warm :-) the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for some time away. We had tons of delicious food and saw some historical sites as well.

Location, views, and quality.

Destin west was the perfect location for our family of 6 plus a baby! It’s so close to the boardwalk that we often walked to it and Destin was just a short drive away. The rooftop provided the perfect place for drinking coffee while looking at the bay or enjoying the privacy of the hot tub. As for the place itself, everything was great! The whole place was shockingly spacious and very comfy. Would 10/10 book again.

Our stay was great at this Heron PH condo. The decor seemed recently updated and was immaculately clean when we arrived. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have laundry in unit! The hot tub and roof deck was a treat as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great condo, resort and location

We walked to the boardwalk most nights for Dinner. Coastal vacations provided a great list of restaurants to try and we took advantage of the Donut Hole in Destin and Old Bay Steamer just down the road. Pools were heated in March and the rooftop Hottub was perfect on those chilly days/nights! Would definitely rent this unit again.

Our family has stayed at Destin West for 10yrs and have stayed at different properties over the years. As expected, some properties were better than others. Beautiful condo with everything you would need, very clean. Roof top access was very nice. The grounds were very well maintained and the pools and lazy river were a big hit. Easy walk across the skybridge to the beach. Management was very helpful with minor maintenance issue, prompt to respond. Management was also very helpful answering questions I had before we got there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fall break 2022

We stayed at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort 10/15/22 - 10/22/22 in PH05. Check in was super easy. The condo was very spacious, plenty big for our family of five. The first few days, the weather was beautiful but Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the high temperatures were around 64 degrees. Having the extra space in this condo and the hot tub on the roof top was a life saver for those cooler days. Friday was gorgeous. The condo was very clean, decor was very nice. Check out was a breeze. We will definitely book this condo again

Great Vacation Spot!

The condo was clean, well-stocked, and decorated so well! Beds were comfortable, and our kids loved having TVs in their own rooms! The rooftop patio with grill and hot tub was FANTASTIC. We enjoyed the pool, especially the lazy river. The walk to the beach was a little further than I would've liked, but totally worth it once you step onto that white sand (and the walkway over the street made it easy to get to the beach side). The wagon, beach chairs, and canopy were a great extra touch. As for views, there isn't a super clear view of the ocean from the room, however, a great view over the bay, which is where the sun and moon both rose. The patios overlook the pool/lazy river area. If we end up back in Florida again, definitely looking this one up again!

This complex is well managed and maintained. The pools are very nice. Would likely stay on the beach side next visit as the walk over the skybridge can be long with beach stuff. Overall, very nice property.
