« Gorgeous old pub in a village setting. Lots of parking. The accommodation buildings are set apart from the pub, and our room was beautiful. Breakfast is served in the pub restaurant- but the landlord will deliver a jug of milk in the morning for use with the tea making facilities. Just make sure the sign outside your door is set to “yes please” for milk! No plastic in sight. We ate at the pub in the evening and the food and service were very good too. »

« We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. The staff were amazing, it felt like a much loved family run business rather than a corporate concern. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful and always on hand. « Cannot fault friendliness of the staff nor the food. Absolutely amazing service from Amanda, Daisy and Aaron and the rest of the team here. It’s my first visit and I’ve already booked to stay for each month for the rest of the year due to work. Large carpark, good WiFi, safe and welcoming. What more could you want. « Fantastic friendly service. Big bedroom and bathroom, all very clean. The only slight criticisms would be that the curtains are white and very thin so the room was very light from 5:30am making it hard to sleep. There was also no mirror in the room however front desk staff quickly rectified this by allowing us to take the mirror hung in the corridor, I would recommend leaving that mirror in the room (Room 2). Overall an excellent two night stay. »

« The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. We were given the number for “Paul” who drove us in a tuk tuk throughout Port Isaac and beyond. My only complaints are the stairs we had to climb with our luggage and the bed was not that comfortable. But, the hotel has that old world Cornish charm and they serve great pub food. »

« Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
