We LOVED the cottage. It was clean, bright, well-furnished and very comfortable. The king-sized bed was fantastic and we melted into it. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to downtown and a short drive to all the wineries. The checkin/checkout is a confusing due to some communications coming from Happy Guest, while others came through Stay Texas Hospitality and still others came from VRBO. Would have made it simpler if there could be a single point of comms.The only real problem we had was the hot tub. This was one of the main reasons we booked here and it just wasn't ready. When we arrived it was low on water, turning green and had no cover so was full of leaves. We reported this and I must say they replied immediately and sent someone out to address it but when we got home that night we found the temp was set to 80 degrees. It takes hours to heat up a hot tub especially when there is no cover to keep the heat in. We didn't get to use it and that was a big disappointment.We would stay here again but only if the management company confirms the hot tub is ready and functional. Would strongly suggest a cover be purchased to keep it clean and the heat in.
