« Booked on a whim to get away for a couple nights along the Mississippi and this seemed like the right fit. We weren't looking for anything extreme, just something comfortable and near the water. This certainly checked the boxes! The host was wonderful and very accommodating to allow us to bring our pup along for the fun. Close to some great wineries and breweries. If you've never experienced the Mississippi River's unique tempo, this is perfect. The train trestle was visible right from the back...

« The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. « Great house for a nice getaway. Plenty to do onsite to keep you occupied. Fantastic outdoor patio area with woods behind the house. 2-person jacuzzi tub was fantastic too. Beds were comfortable, and house was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. Plenty of seasoned firewood for inddor and outdoor use.Had a very minor hiccup with check-in, which was not the owners fault. « Beautifully decorated home. The host thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed plus some. We grilled one night and everything we needed was there. It was very peaceful sitting outside watching the river. There were trains as well but they were not that disturbing! The host answered any questions we had in a very timely manner. »
