The house had plenty of room for our whole family and was beautifully decorated. We love Pointe West amenities and try to come every year- this may be the best house we stayed in so far-we loved it!

Sunset Kisses Stay

Great family & friends get away

This was a very lovely home with great decor and amenities. We loved having 2 king bedrooms with their own private baths in addition to 2 bunk rooms and 2 additional full baths. The tv in the living room was huge and great for us to sit around and watch sports. The kitchen is well stocked and the home owners have thought of all the details to make this a great vacation stay. We loved the property as it’s situated next to a large green space and lovely pond with water feature. It was an easy walk to a great quiet beach. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great Time @ The Pointe West Home

Our stay at the Pointe West home was great! The house had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. The resort was beautiful and the staff was prompt and helpful. We would highly recommend others to enjoy this property in the future. Thanks for the memories!

Family Vacation

We stayed with our children and grandchildren. The house was very clean and Auri was quick to answer all of our questions. It’s a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood was very well maintained. We all enjoyed the two pools. We would definitely recommend this property.

Summer Family Vacation

We stayed five days/four nights. Everything went smoothly for our family - ages 1 to 64 plus our small pups. The home is very clean and well furnished with everything you’ll need to have a great stay. Do bring mosquito spray and maybe some AirTags for your pets. Ours bolted out once to explore. We did receive an email prior to our stay allowing us to prepay for the Pointe West pool facilities. So, with the beach, the pools, and hanging out at the house, we had plenty to do. We also drove to the other end of the island for the dolphin harbor tour, and two in our group took a private tour of haunted locations on the island. Their guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Auri, the host, is the best! If you have any questions at all, she will respond quickly and kindly. She cares very much that your stay is a great experience! We hope to visit again next summer!

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay as we always do at Point West. The house was very nice and stocked with all the essentials. My only complaint is the slowness of the dryer. We had to run towels multiple times to get them dry. Also the refrigerator was missing two shelves on the door which would have definitely helped our food storage. Beach access was perfect and the pool was wonderful as always. The mosquitoes are horrible so make sure to take spray. They attack in droves lol. Also the policy states that no vehicles are allowed on the beach however we saw several golf carts and two four wheelers going up and down the beach. Of course this is not the homeowners fault. I’ll address with Point West.

Wonderful beach stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Lots of rooms and beds and bathrooms to give us all some personal space. I only have a 4⭐️ on cleanliness because the grill was not cleaned and yet, it is a specific item we’re told to clean before checking out. We cleaned it before and after using it. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Relaxing beach vacation

We love Point West for our Galveston beach vacations. Less crowded, groomed beach and option to use the beach club facilities, although they are currently charging $25 per head. Auri was very responsive. Loved that we could take our dogs. One of my criteria was at least 2 king size beds since my daughter and daughter in law are both pregnant with husbands each over 6'5. Sunset kisses has a large master suite with a king bed and also a smaller master with a king bed. I loved that all of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms- the 2 masters had ensuite bathrooms. The beach walkover was close... I worried that it might be too far with a 2 year old in tow, but he had no problem. The kitchen is fully stocked with any kind of cooking/serving item you will need. There was also ample toilet paper, soap and towels including beach towels on hand. I usually come prepared with extra TP, paper towels, etc, because you never really know, but this place had it all. We were there for a family reunion with family staying at 2 other houses a block over and one group at the beach club condos. It was very conducive to a fun get together for everyone.

Great stay at Pointe West!

Our family of 5 enjoyed spring break week here! Clean and well stocked home and an easy walk to the beach. Property owners were very quick to respond to an item that popped up during our stay. As with any property in the Pointe West community, a golf cart makes the entire property easily accessible (but not a requirement). We have stayed at other properties at Pointe West through the years and this was one of the best. We would definitely stay here again!

Coastal calm

Great place and location. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the a/c was strong against the Texas heat and the lenders were so responsive to any questions. We had a wonderful long weekend at Sunset Kisses!

perfect place for beach vacation

Clean and plenty of room for our family of 5 adults and 5 children. tastefully decorated. contained everything needed for our stay. beach toys and chairs provided outdoor shower and faucet a necessity and nice outdoor area. Walk to the beach. Overall, great place to visit! Disappointed that the dishwasher didn't work but owner offered to be replaced during our stay boogie boards were all broken but that didn't stop our kids from trying them. when I told owner the hammock was torn, she sent a new one the next day, we just didn't have what we needed to put it up new washing machine detergent is needed. Owner very responsive. Thank you!

Saved the property for future trips

The property looked exactly as listed, house was clean and equipped with all what you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and to make a good barbecue. Aurora and Daniel were great and replied to our inquiries quickly, and they were flexible with us when early check-in/out was needed. Location is great and in walking distance from the beach and like 10 mins away from Jamaica beach. Patios were great for night gathering. One thing is the you have to expect mosquitoes during the season, which is something nobody can control anyway but it will be a good idea to get some rush cream and/or applying repellant before going out. Will recommend the property for sure and will go there again in the future.

Amazing is an understatememt

Sunset Kissss didnt t let us down...I was in shambles trying to find a property bc the previous host cancled during the same week we were scheduled to do our stay... i couldn't let our family and freinds down... contacted the hoist about Sunset Kisses and was booked same day... fast forward... we get to the property and we were amazed!!! Blessing in disguise!!! It was beautiful!!! Everything was put togerher so well!!! Very clear and consice instrictions about all guidlines!!! Will definitely love to go back soon !!! Highly recommended

Perfect for large family

We stayed at Sunset Kisses for a family vacation with 6 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 kids. It is always nice to have a house that doesn’t just consist of bunk beds when you have mainly adults on a trip!😄It was rainy and cold for our stay, so the TV and speaker setup in the living room allowed for a great movie marathon experience since we couldn’t make it to the beach that day. The beach walkover is just down the road, not a far distance at all. The owners are so kind and very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. We will definitely stay here again!
