i had a wonderful time at the home. everything i needed. Unfortunatley the reltal company and home owner were lacking in communication and knowledge about the neighbor hood that this home resides in. i was cited and given a fine for using the boat ramp to launch my boat. i was just trying to use the aminites given in the discription. i even looked up the stipulations for the access to use the boat launch and it clearly states that the home own or lease company must apply for guest pass. i am not the home own so i was failed by this company and or home owner. im currently not to happy abou thtis situation and plan to take action about the bad communication and how i was treated when i called and spoke to the manager that supposedly covered this area. Again the home was great but the ignorance on the home owner or lease company was horrible.

Beautiful location. House was very nice and clean. Will definately be going back. Property managers were very responsive and quick to reply. All request were met. There was a little confusion with details because they were in the middle of changing from Gary Green to Ryson, but once we got in touch with Ryson personel everything went smooth.

Love the location! But a few things to note...

Location was perfect. A few things were disappointing with the house that should have been disclosed. They do starter supplies, such as one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and the bathroom handsoap is bar soap. Also, they require black trashbags which would have been good to note before we brought out own bags for the trash. Also, they only provide one towel per person which means youre doing laundry almost daily in order to have clean wash rags/towels to bathe with. The dishwasher had a leak and it took 3 calls to get a tech there to fix it but it did get fixed on day 2. Had to go back out to get supplies to hand wash dishes until then though. Also, no ceiling light in one of the rooms (just a dim table lamp) so had to use the closet light in order to see. Great selection of games for the rainy time we were there. Because of the rain, the driveway floods...and i mean FLOODS. Had to carry our shoes as youre ankle deep getting to the vehicle. Had a great time, place was clean! Fishing was great and plenty of room on the dock. House could use more outdoor amenities (canoe, paddle boat,etc) like other houses we have stayed. This is our 10th year staying in jamaica beach and we come back annually.

Great place to stay on the water!

We brought the boat and fished all week. Nice boat ramp close to the house and easy access to the bay.

In need of deck repair.

Property was mostly as represented. Somewhat dated and furniture in need of a sprucing up, both inside and out. The side upper deck was in very bad shape. Spongey to walk on and the handrail was completely shaky. I see it as a disaster waiting to happen. We made it a rule not to even go near it. I fear someone will fall right off when that handrail collapses.

Could use some touch ups

The house was big and spacious for our family Christmas week stay. Big kitchen and living area. Great patio space. Although the patio furniture could use an upgrade. We loved the outdoor swing and fish cleaning station. We fished every which way there all week and only caught a couple. No fish there. Rooms are a bit weird. You have to walk through bedrooms to get to other bedrooms. The house smelled awful and had to air it out when we first got there. I used a lot of fabreeze and candles and it was just super musty. The king bed was SUPER uncomfortable. The place could definitely benefit from some wall plug ins and a coat of paint. I had to go buy hand soap for all the bathrooms. There was only a partial bottle in the kitchen.
