Set within a larger home on six private acres, this first floor apartment has its own separate entrance and looks out over the Gardiner Basin. The living room faces Electric Peak and the Yellowstone River, a view we built the house around. Elk, deer, and the occasional bighorn move through the property depending on the season. You may see them without leaving the couch.

A quiet place for people who come to look closely: hikers or cross country skiers logging real miles, researchers, wildlife photographers, or anyone who wants a desk with good light and a place to journal and reflect at the end of the day.

The North Entrance to Yellowstone is up to a 15 minute drive. Close enough for an early start, far enough that you're not sharing a wall or a driveway with other visitors.

Inside: a warm living room and kitchen, a queen bedroom with a walk-in closet, desk, and TV, a full laundry room, and a bathroom built for the shower you'll want after a full day in the park. Wifi, heating, and AC keep you connected and comfortable whatever the season throws at you. Drinking water comes straight from the tap: our well is filtered and fully potable, so there's no need to pack or buy bottled water for your stay.

We're on site and happy to point you toward the places that aren't in the guidebooks. Otherwise, we'll leave you to the view.
