« Somewhat run down. The clock had stopped. There were holes in the wall where they used to be something hanging. The TV was not tuned into the network. One of the kitchen cabinet fronts was missing. There was no curtain over the glass front door so it was not possible to make the appartment dark in the morning. The shower drained incredibly slowly. I had to stop showering and wait before continuing The showerhead came off the hose because it was not probably fitted »

« No heating (which did come on 12 hours after arrival and switched back off again). Lukewarm and cold water - unable to shower there. We had to boil water in a kettle and wash from a basin. Noise from road and open bars/restaurants late into night, broken chair, lounge had holes all through it and just two cups. While the unit was on the first floor up from the road, there were about 40 stairs to that level and the instructions to the premises talked of a white door - no white door anywhere. »
