« We stayed in room 237 which is directly across from the stairwell. Cold air gushed up the stairs and into our room. There was no good way to regulate the temperature. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never had problems. However I will never stay in that room again. »

« Great hotel. Clean room and great kitchenette. Good breakfast( pancakes, waffles, eggs(boiled and scrambled) cereal, sausage, yogurt, pastries, bread, etc.)
Wish the pool was a little cooler, hot tub was hot.
One negative, the mattress…I felt like I was sleeping directly on the springs. »

« The building is starting to show some wear. It was kept clean but our rooms closet door was falling apart. The pool was very nice and our kids loved the slide and hot tub. Breakfast was available but one of the waffle makers wasn’t working. Options were somewhat limited. »

« A really magnificent departure from the mid-range, vanilla hotels that we business travelers frequent. You'll experience coolness overload when you stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the communal areas are stunning in a way that fans of Gustav Stickley, Teco, Weller, etc won't easily forget. The breakfast was superb too. The only drawback-It was really hot, and the A/C in this old girl couldn't keep up. Luckily there was a large fan in the room.
