Lovely cabin!

Quite nice, my father in law even got to see some bears up close and personal! How cool! The hot tub was amaaaazing!

Not a great stay for the price

Let's start off with the doors do it shut or latch properly through out. Kitchen floors buckling, dryer doesn't work, door to balcony where the hot tub is are broke literally broke. Hot tub cover had a big hole. Carpet has burns. House was not clean. Only one pool stick and pool table coming apart. The big bear is gone from outside. Basically owners do not care and house keeper doesn't either. Absolutely no view and the drive way is hard to get in and out of

ROCKY START

When we arrived to the location. Starting plugging in lights and they stated blinking, we ended up having no heat, no hot water, no hot tub, no Stove, until the next. I am asking that the owners give me a refund of 1 day. I spent approximately 6 hours the evening of our arrival trying to get the electrial working but never succeded. A electrician came the next day so I spent half of that day waiting for them to show. Finally about noon we had full power.

A Frame Cabin

The pictures of the cabin on line are not a good representation of the actual cabin. It wasn’t the cleanest. Cobwebs and dust on fans. The main TV did not work. There are no blinds on the window above the master bed. The light shining in was harsh when trying to sleep. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked but overall, not worth what we paid for. I was disappointed.

home away from home

This place was perfect for my husband and myself. Its plently capable of accomadating more people as well. The house has everything we needed. The hot tub was great! This wasn't the ritz or anything, but it was quiet and close enough to town that we could get a few ubers. We were also lucky to have a bear cub come visit with us!! 10/10 would recommend for a quick romantic get away but we'll probaby book here again and bring our kids with us next time. The whole basement is dedicated to a fun room of games and pool. Great experience!!

Great location

The cabin was located in a beautiful setting with plenty of opportunities to see bears. The drive into downtown Gatlinburg from our unit was less than 10 minutes. Upon entering the driveway after dark, it’s very steep and not well lit so backing in is very difficult but necessary in order to fit in the driveway. The things I noticed but may not bother anyone else is that the landscape is in need of cleaning up. There were broken landscape lights and the bear statue was missing. The gutters very much needed cleaned out and the outside could stand a good power wash. There was a screen missing where the hot tub was and it should have been cleaned better. We drove seven hours to stay and when we arrived there wasn’t any toilet paper. That may not be something that is provided but at least one roll would have been nice until we could have made a trip to the store. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean bath towels which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay but just not sure it was worth what we paid for it.

Property does not match description

We were looking forward to our family trip to this property because it had everything we had hoped for to accommodate our larger family. The hot tub was an extra we were looking forward to after our long drive, but it was cold when we got there, and there was no power to it. My husband had to fix it. We have adult children as well as a couple younger children, and there were supposed to be beds listed in the pictures and descriptions of the bedrooms that were no longer there. And according to their cleaning staff the twin beds have not been there for many years. There are also fewer couches than what’s shown in all the pictures which would’ve been suitable for family movie or game nights. As it is now there were only five seats in the living room because there’s only a loveseat and single couch (the blue couches shown in images are not present). The kitchen was stocked well enough, and we like to cook family meals, but there’s really no place for a family to sit and eat, and the chairs that are there are very hard to sit in. Lastly, the rooms in the basement had a very strong urine type odor and made it hard to spend time downstairs because of that. They need to do some renovations or update the website for this property so it reflects its current state.

We enjoyed our stay. Great place to just relax. Only a few things need mentioning. Main TV could not get service. Leak bottom.level bedroom coming out of closet. Kitchen sink drips. Wish Hot Tub was on main level due to leg issues. Definitely will return.

Absolutely filthy

Great location and home if you can get past the filth! On the Walls, lamp shades, on dishes, windows, coming out from under the bed dirt and dust was everywhere. We even had other people’s socks and underwear waiting for us in the corner of the bedroom upon arrival. The garbage can was so dirty we washed it ourselves before throwing anything away.

My stay at the cabin

The driveway to drive up was terrible. Driveway very steep with lose gravel which was hard for my truck to get up. The bear in front of the cabin was rotting and over on the ground. The cabin was fine.

The cabin had good and bad
 was not very clean.

It was only 50 degrees inside the cabin when we arrived! Three floors, top floor bedroom blinds were all broken, the light shade on fan is half broken off, the dust on the fan and in vents was horrible! The main floor, the fireplace didn’t work, the floors had not been swept from last guess, coffee pot still had coffee in it, and the dust was horrible! The bottom floor, the vents were so full of dust you couldn’t see through them, half the bulbs were burned out, most of the furniture was broke, the screen in porch around the hot tub were all tore up and one side was completely missing and all the bedding smelled like they hadn’t been washed in years. We made the best of it, but won’t return!!

Roaches

As soon as we arrived we first noticed the bear statue was knocked over and rotten. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. When cleaning under the toaster my daughter found a dozen roaches. I tried reaching out to the guest contact by email, text and calling (her voicemail was full) without any response for two days, she then told me on our third day there is nothing can be done because pest control do not work on Sunday. So instead my husband sprayed everywhere but this did not help. We then began noticing roaches in the bathroom and even in the refrigerator! My family and I tried making the best of the situation because this was our first family vacation since having grandkids. I will say Evolve has been emailing me and Gabriel has been very helpful! If it wasn’t for the roaches I would have given 4 stars but the roaches are unacceptable.
