Not great value for money.
"More than happy with the service but we felt let down by the standard of the hotel for the price paid. Heating seems to be an issue as the common rooms were all cold - and we were not the only ones that noticed. There is no raging fire as described in the website - it is fake fire with steam to help ..."

"This was a charming but rustic property. I expected that, as I read the age of the hotel. Tub/shower was a bit rickety, but clean. The rooms are heated with radiators that are on timers...you cannot control the temp yourself. Food at their restaurant was great. The place just needs a bit of TLC."
