Best cabin in town!

Our family of 4 stayed at Fox Haven for a week and had the best time. We were delayed getting to town and didn’t arrive until after dark, and the lamps had all been turned on for us so we weren’t walking into a dark cabin. Our kids (5 and 3) loved playing on the deck and watching for bears. The cabin was incredibly clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils we could ever need, and we had a huge supply of clean towels. The beds were all really comfortable with nice bedding. The view of the mountains is exactly what you’d expect from the pictures!! It would be hard to find a more peaceful setting. Aside from how beautiful the cabin is, what really sets Fox Haven apart is the location. It’s a 5 minute drive up the mountain from the main road into town, but it’s so quiet and peaceful that you’d never guess you’re close to town. We saw bears a couple evenings and enjoyed listening to the birds all around. The road up the mountain is wide and in really good condition.We are hoping to make Fox Haven an annual trip for our family and we can’t wait to be back!

Spring Mountain trip

We loved staying at Fox Haven. The cabin was beautiful and provided the most amazing views. It had everything you could ever need for your stay. It was easy to see every attention to detail was carefully thought out. One of the best places we have stayed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Experience

We loved the property and all that came with it. It had everything we needed and then some! The checkout process was so much easier than most rentals. All we had to do was take out the trash and set the thermostat. The view was incredible!

GORGEOUS CABIN WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS!

If you are looking for breathtaking views from each of the three floors of an amazing cabin in the heart of the Smokies, you've come to the right place! From the moment we parked in the spacious and LEVEL (no scary slopes) driveway, we oohed and aahed about every thoughtful detail found inside and outside of this spectacular 3-story cabin! On our last day, no one really wanted to leave the wrap-around porches, with the comfort of the polywood luxury outdoor chairs and table sets. We did see a bear...twice! Total highlight! Spectacular sunrises and sunsets! The beds and linens were high-quality, and the cabin was decked out to include anything we could have possibly needed or wanted. There were plenty of dishes, pots, and pans for the kitchen, which were so nice that we chose to eat at the cabin each night. One of our favorite luxury touches was the beautiful hand-crafted pottery from Alewine Pottery found throughout the cabin, from the kitchen and bath accessories to the leaf-print mugs for early-morning coffee. This was a family celebration to mark the end of my sister's cancer treatments (PTL!), and Carole and Lee were so kind and made us feel welcome (through emails/texts) and even caring words of encouragement prior to the trip. This was our second stay in the Smokies and I looked for weeks to find the perfect place. After staying at Fox Haven, we would never need to look for another cabin, if this one is available for our next trip. Thank you so much, Carole and Lee! :)

Stunning mountain retreat!

We loved every minute of our stay at Fox Haven. The location is perfect - very close to Gatlinburg (and a great grocery store!) but tucked away on a quiet mountain. The views from the three cabin decks were stunning. We loved everything about the cabin - the decor, cleanliness, comfort, cozy details, games, hot tub, and the list goes on! The owners have thought of everything to make the stay easy and relaxing. We will definitely be back in the future!

Wonderful Experience!

This lovely home is outdone only by the incredible views from inside and from the decks. The cabin was spotless and well appointed. Our Amazing Trip

We had an unforgettable stay at FoxHaven. Carol and Lee have truly thought of every detail to make the home warm, welcoming, and comfortable. The mountain views from the balconies were simply stunning! We spent time relaxing on the comfortable outdoor furniture soaking up the scenery and the perfect weather. It was the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee. The location is incredibly peaceful, yet convenient to Gatlinburg for those that want to explore. We had a wonderful stay enjoying our time together as a family at beautiful FoxHaven. .

Gorgeous mountain top cabin

View is spectacular from the moment you pull into the carport. Nice breeze and view while sitting on comfy chairs/rockers on wrap around deck on main level and a great view from second level deck. You don’t need to go anywhere. Cabin is very clean and well stocked.

Amazing property

I typically do not leave reviews but this home was amazing. Our family stayed her for a week and included ages from 9 to 76. My parents stayed in master on first floor. Kiddos had basement to themselves and my husband and I stayed in upstairs room. Beds were comfy, towels fluffy and sheets soft. Small details but they matter after being away from home while traveling. Kitchen was very well stocked and allowed us to cook breakfast and eat lunch when in the cabin. The views were as incredible as the pictures depicted in the listing. Coffee on the back porch was worth getting up earlier than the rest of the household for just to take in the beautiful view and enjoy the peace of the outdoors. I typically like to stay in a new places when traveling to try different locations, etc but this home will be on repeat for our family. Location was superb and road was very manageable. We have stayed in other locations with scary roads up a mountain and this was by far the easiest road to ascend and descend. There a couple of hairpin turns but again very manageable considering we travelled from New Orleans where everything is below sea level and flat :) many thanks to the owners for sharing this amazing property and thinking of all the details for guests. Planning to return soon!

Our family was in complete awe of the beautiful view the cabin had. The details and cleanliness of the cabin was really suprising and absolutely recommend everyone to stay , it’s safe and you might see a Bear in the backyard.

Amazing home and breathtaking views

Fox Haven is an awesome home. All of the photos on VRBO are accurately portrayed. The home is clean and meticulously updated and beautifully decorated. The owners have given considerate attention to detail to the home. It has anything and everything we needed for a happy and relaxing stay for my son, 3 granddaughters, and me. It is centrally located between both downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions. Traveling was a breeze no matter our destination. A McDonalds, grocery store, and liquor store were all within 10 minutes of this property. Some of the amenities that we were thrilled about were the plush white luxurious bathroom towels, phone-charging alarm clocks in the Master Bedroom, comfortable beds, sofas, chairs, and all outside furniture. This made for a cozy stay. The 2 walls of windows on the main floor facing the mountains allowed us to enjoy magnificent views whether we were drinking coffee in the morning or relaxing after a long day. The 2nd floor also had a wall of windows facing the mountains. The attached 2-car carport was convenient for car access when it rained. The hot tub located on the upper covered deck was used by our family each night after the days of walking to different attractions; it was a relaxing way to end each day. There were separate towels for the hot tub! My grands liked the games in the basement and the shuffleboard on the 2nd store TV area. We saw 2 bears and then a deer; we were so excited!! This home was perfect for our family.

This house was perfectly located! Close to downtown, but far enough for the views. The house and views were even better than in person. We were extremely happy with our choice! The house was very clean and spacious for the kids to spread out. I highly recommend this home!

Best spot in Gatlinburg

This is my 3 time to Gatlinburg and this was the best place by far. The view was spectacular and the cabin felt like home. The location is prefect for easy entrance to and from park. There is a flat street area by the cabin for a short stroller walk if you have small children. The inside was clean and very spacious. We had an amazing time in this cabin Thank you Carole and Lee Fox for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful, Clean, & Quiet with Breathtaking View

This is the BEST vacation home in the Smokies. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. It had everything needed to accommodate my elderly father - It is easily accessible with only 3 steps to enter the main level where everything you need is located, comfortable furniture & recliner, walk-in shower, & oversized carport where we could charge his scooter. It included thoughtful, detailed amenities such as towels for the hot tub, extra kitchen and laundry supplies, and emergency portable lanterns in every room. All of the tv’s worked well and there were several games throughout the home to keep my 2 toddlers entertained. You have a beautiful view from every floor, inside and outside. Fox Haven felt like home away from home and I will highly recommend it to all family and friends.

Incredible place to stay!

We had the most amazing time at Fox Haven. If you are looking for breathtaking views of the mountains this place is it. The location is perfect and super accessible to hiking, the grocery store, and downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin itself was beyond our expectations. We had 5 people and barely utilized all the space. We had our 9yo son and he loved the shuffle board and the Xbox in our downtime. I can’t recommend staying here enough.

The drive up the mountain was very easy, the amenities were top notch, the place was very clean, and the views were spectacular! The perfect mountain getaway

This home is clean, comfortable, well stocked and has spectacular views! It is quiet and peaceful, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, but only a short drive into town. The hosts are helpful and responsive. It is perfect for families. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay here again. Amazing Cabin

We have rented this cabin many times now and it’s always first on our list with family. Amazing views! Plenty large for a good size family with large bedrooms and a very open feel. Unbelievable!

This property is beautiful! Exactly as described and the view is magnificent. The communication with Carole is easy and she's timely in her responses. Fox Haven is super close to dowtown Gatlinburg in the Arts district. The stores have beautiful handmade pieces in several shops and they were very friendly. The property is very clean inside and out! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt like home(but fancy, lol). Carole and Lee have a fully stocked kitchen, with all cookware dishes and utensils to cook a Full Christmas dinner, breakfast and cakes for the week! There is a full grocery store right down the mountain for all your groceries! To be honest we loved the location, the hosts responsiveness, the cleanliness and the VIEW so much that my family has already booked for this summer as well! We travel several times a year and rarely is it back to the same Vrbo but Fox Haven is the exception! Ya'll better go experience some of Fox Haven! Thanks Carole and Lee for sharing your space!
