The cabin location is great for those who don't want to be downtown nor at the the top of a mountain. It sits about 15-20 minutes east of downtown.We were traveling on a budget and this cabin was the best choice within said budget. It's absolutely usable but also has a few quirks.1: You will have road noises. Honestly, the road was busier through the night than I would have expected.2: the primary bedroom headboard clatters against the wall every time you twitch. It can be frustrating.3: After the AC runs, you'll hear a dripping sound through the cabin, near the kitchen.4: The kitchen didn't have hot pads which made cooking a bit of a process. I also wish things like coffee filters and sugar were part of the rental.Overall, if on a budget, but wanting two rooms, a loft like upstairs, a hot tub, and a questionable pool table - this cabin works. Its not the dream, but it beats a tent!

Got to the place and it had not been cleaned and could not get ahold of property manager to see if the issue could be resolved. Host had to end up cancelling because there was no ETA on cleaning. So had to find a place to stay last minute and of course spend more money to do so. So between lack of communication and having to make last minute changes, unless the property manager changes or fixes all there issues I do not recommend staying here. It would have made more sense to call and let me know the property would not be cleaned upon arrival and either help get another place to stay or give a realistic ETA for cleaning.

Our stay was great due to 12 inches of beautiful snow! The main road (321) was salted and plowed and we were able to leave at our scheduled check out time. A few drawl backs to the cabin would be: no potholders, no spatula (pancake turner), and the heat did struggle but the windchill was -1 so that's to be understood, especially with the vaulted ceilings. As previous reviews have stated the cabin could have been cleaned better. Lots of fingerprints, cobwebs and general dirt, especially behind doors. I brought some disinfecting wipes and gave everything a good wipe down and swept the floors myself before I could really relax. The game cabin was a wonderful space! Most of the games worked but the big driving game did not. The pool table was a big hit! The heat in the game cabin never made it above 67 degrees but once again it was very cold outside. The hot tub was clean and seemed newer and was very relaxing. Overall our stay was relaxing and beautiful, a few tweaks to cleaning and supplies would have made it 5 star. Things to consider when booking: If in winter bring extra blankets (no extra linens were in the cabin, just what was on beds), Salt and pepper (I have never stayed in a cabin that didn't have that in the cabinets). If snow is in the forecast a shovel would have been nice as we had no way to clear the stairs and walkways for safe travel. This cabin is right off the main road. You still have the mountain feel but there are commercial business' next to it.

Scam!Be aware!The cabin is abandoned,dirty,filthy,in uninhabitable conditions,full of cobwebs,cockroaches,old food stuck to the floor,the microwave is dirty with spilled soup inside,the kitchen cabinets are covered in grease,there's hair in the bathrooms,under the beds it looked like it had never been cleaned,as soon as you enter,a smell of burnt grease greets you,the trash can was dirty with food spilled outside,the lighting was terrible,as if to mask all the dirt.The moment we arrived,we filmed everything and contacted the host,providing her with all the videos and photos,and informed her that we would be leaving the cabin immediately(we didn't even spend one night there)We requested a refund because I didn't pay to spend 7days in a dirty,disgusting cabin full of cobwebs and cockroaches,an uninhabitable cabin that needs to be shut down.She refused to give us a refund and claimed she could send someone to clean it.It was a huge scam,a terrible experience,and we lost our money.We filed a claim with Vrbo requesting our refund,In short,nobody protected our rights,we sadly lost our money,and VRBO,instead of giving us a credit on their website for future vacations for the amount of money the host scammed me out of,only offered to cover the transaction fees.My money didn't matter to anyone,and they gave me the solution that was most beneficial to them, considering that if I suffered a scam,that scam operated through Vrbo,and that's how this sad experience is coming to an end.

Overall we had a really fun time staying here, just a few issues like there weren’t many things supplied. No paper towels, no extra trash bags. It seems like the heat is broken it was 40-50 degrees in the cabin everytime we woke up even though we went to bed with the heat on. The cleanliness could be better, all the beds had a lot of lint as well as the floors. Other than that it was a nice cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub and the boys loved the games and pool table, it was all really cute scenery!

Having a game room cabin. Separate from the cabin where we slept was fantastic for us as we have 3 teens. So their dad and I was able to enjoy the peace and tranquility while the teens played games etc. The scenery on-site is absolutely breathtaking, although it takes a while to get to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge it is well worth the travel time for the scenery and this beautiful property!!

Everything was fine, but there was definitely something missing from the "-by owner" expectations. No saltpepper in the kitchen, no sponge/scrub in the kitchen sink, no matches for the grill, etc. Things you would assume that would be in a place that people stay on vacation. Has the cabin aesthetic, but being right next to the highway and between other buildings doesn't quite match it. Easy to access though!Overall nothing particularly wrong, just really can't give a strong recommendation.

Nice quiet place to stay! Here's what you should know:- The listing caused a moment of confusion - saw two different listings on Vrbo for the same place. I was under the impression that these were 2 separate cabins. Turns out, the front one is the game room and the rear one is the living/sleeping space. We checked in very late (1:30am), entered the game room first and wondered where the rest of it was. Thankfully, we quickly figured out our mistake.- Yes, the cabin sleeps up to 10 or so - but there's not much room to roam. It's great if you're spending most of your time exploring around outdoors, or in the game room, but not a good place for a (large) family gathering. The only couch is a 3-place sofa in a cramped sitting room with a TV and the spiral staircase to the loft 5 feet in front of it. Again, livable but not ideal.Kitchen and dining space is difficult to navigate with 6 people in it at once. Playing a board game at the pub table was uncomfortable. Hard seating surfaces had us longing for the comfort of our car by the time we left. Lack of good natural light. Recommendation to the owners - re-arrange the game room so there is a larger seating area where a family can gather and watch a movie together. Get rid of the cramped hard-seat wood 'picnic' table and a couple of the arcade consoles and put in a decent sectional.- WiFi was good. Verizon 5G UW was better.- 1 fan didn't work (downstairs bunk room), but the A/C was more than sufficient.

A GREAT CABIN PLUS A GAMEROOM TO YOURSELF!

I didnt realize that when i got the cabin, i was getting a separate cabin as a game room. the hot tub was a hit and we could have just stayed there an relaxed. The cute little relaxing stream was a plus. It has been a while since i have seen lightning bugs and sitting on the quiet front porch, i saw a lot! This is a great deal and had enough room for the 12 of us!

Perfect Cabin for families

We loved our stay at this cabin, very clean and the game room was an added bonus for the entire family to enjoy! The only issue was lighting in the parking area, it is extremely dark and since we arrived late at night it was difficult to see. Over great experience and would definitely book again

Great Location & Amenities

The positives of this cabin outnumber the negatives, but the negative was pretty glaring. I’ll start with the positives.1) This place is fantastic for younger kids/teens. The gameroom provided solid entertainment when the weather prevented outdoor activities. They also really loved the hottub, which was clean and plenty warm. 2) The location was great! It was far enough out of town that traffic never became a big issue, yet close enough where we could be in downtown Gatlinburg in 15 minutes or Pigeon Forge in 25 minutes. 3) The mattresses were super comfortable for all the beds that we used. There was no skimping on those! Now the negative, and it was an issue. There was A LOT of hair in the master shower drain cover. We had to remove before we used it. There were several spiders (non venomous) we had to get rid of in different parts of the house. There were signs of water damage, in particular the flooring near the dining table. The flooring was trying to peel up. The ceiling fan in the 2nd room didn’t work and one of the ceiling fans upstairs was significantly out of balance that it couldn’t be used. The curtains in the master bath had a weird stain or was dirty. Overall, we liked this place, but wouldn’t stay here in the future unless those issues were addressed. Our kids loved it which helps in our review.
