« We loved the unique stay near the Smokies! We were surprised to find the lodging wasn’t quite as secluded as the photos would lead you to believe. But, the walkability to coffee and ice cream were nice! For a family, we would want to be sure the gas stove cover is present (pictured but was not found in our tent) but we were able to steer little hands away. Hospitality was lovely and this made for a fun stay! »

« The site was paved and very level. Full hookups all worked great, however, water pressure was a little lower than we like. Site was clean and well maintained. Easy check in with good communication from host. Only 2 issues we had were 1) the noise from the nearby roadway was very loud and could be heard basically 24/7 and 2) the free WiFi from the property was terrible and unusable. We loved the community vibe though and walking the property was very pleasant. They have a library and full laundry...

« Whispering Waters is exactly what I hoped it would be. It's the perfect combination of camping and homey comfort and more than I expected. I would stay here over a hotel each and every time I travel if it were possible. The communication and attentiveness to a few small issues I had was so appreciated! I had a relaxing and stress-free 3 night stay. I will say, definitely follow the directions given when you head up- maps will try to take you a different route and even though some of the streets...

« Really neat place and location. Pretty much what we were looking for in that space between actually camping and having some of the luxuries of a hotel or apartment. Everything we needed was there and the host was very responsive with extra towels when requested. Much appreciated. If you're a late sleeper, I'd maybe recommend renting one of the tents a little further back in the complex as there is some traffic and parking noise from the nearby businesses, but it didn't ruin our stay or anything....

« What a gem! The place was even better than the pictures! Nestled up against a creek that can be heard from inside, which made for peaceful sleeping. The inside is not what you'd expect from looking at the outside - like one of the tents in the Harry Potter movie, Goblet of Fire. One word of warning - the driveway (1/4 mile) is pretty rugged, with larger rocks and deep crevices. We had no problems with a minivan (Chrysler Pacifica), but we also have some off-road driving experience. Some...
