„I would highly recommend the Bay View Apartment when considering places to stay in Iceland. My friends and I stayed in the villa and couldn’t be happier. From the excellent communication (sending a welcome message, checking in and asking if there was anything we needed, and bidding us a farewell), to the beautiful interior and spacious floor plan…the villa had it all. The beds were comfortable, the rain shower relaxing, and it has a washer and dryer! The only criticism we had is that we wished ...

„The kitchen is marvelous! The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable. Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me.“

„We liked it here a lot. The Apartment is close to the sea in a quiet neighbourhood yet you can get easily to central Reykjavik with car or bus (or take a long walk by the sea). There is all neccessairy equipment in Kitchen and bathroom and you can wash and dry clothes in a room in the basement. Everything in the apartment was really clean. „Siggi is a perfect and extremely kind host, and the home is a wonderful starting point to explore Iceland. Seltjarnarnes is a great place, with the grotta lighthouse, bird shores, the Kvika footbath and the wonderful hill panoramic view in short walking distances. The bikes and the very close bus station are perfect for Reykjavik, and the robust Subaru kindly provided by Siggi lead us to many incredible experiences. Thanks a lot for wonderful holidays!“

„This location is excellent! We loved the quiet and beauty of the neighborhood – so close to the Grotta Lighthouse and a delicious restaurant with wonderful ambience, Radagerdi. It’s very close to Reykjavik and central enough to use as a base for more exploration. We had plenty of room for four of us to unwind after our days out. The only downside was there is no washer. We packed extremely light because the listings said there was one. It was a bit inconvenient, but we managed. The owner was very apologetic ans even offered to do our laundry. Regardless, we loved staying here.“

„Das kleine Ferienhaus ist urgemütlich und ausreichend für 2 Personen. Von hier aus lässt Reykjanes aber auch die Südküste sehr gut erkunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt um die Ecke und auch die Innenstadt von Hafnarfjördur ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Ansonsten ist man mit dem Auto oder dem Bus auch schnell in Reykjavik. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.“
