The room appeared clean, linens were fresh. AC in room was very efficient.
The shower and bathroom as a whole were not in good condition. The shower curtain rod was not attached to the wall, and the wall was cracked and crumbling where it was supposed to be attached. Sheetrock was exposed.
There was a significant gap between the tile on the floor and where the tub was placed, exposing damaged concrete.
The toilet didn’t flush properly, it took several attempts using the handle, to get it to flush.
When I spoke to the front desk prior to booking, I was told the hotel rooms were in interior corridors. I felt very vulnerable traveling alone with my son, with exterior corridors.
Next trip to George West, I am unlikely to choose this hotel again.
