Don’t stay there on a Monday night- no dining options open and you have to go into town (the Mexican restaurant in McRae has average food but the biggest beer we’ve ever had) We were told they served breakfast on a Tuesday morning but discovered that was closed too so another trip back into town (found a family diner ...

„The grounds are incredible. The café is bare bones in the mornings, however the coffee is amazing. The kitchen did a nice job with after hours food. We were there during a wedding so lots of noise. Note, no daily housekeeping. Will stay there again overall, a beautiful location, helpful staff, and lots of amenities to choose from. The room was well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable.“

„Unlikely to stay there again. It was quaint, but lacking in amenities. The lobby didn't open until 8:00 AM for coffee which is too late for an early riser. A small coffee maker in the room would solve this problem. Be aware (as I was not) you are renting a bedroom, no TV and you are a few miles from a restaurant so make sure you have snacks. This set-up may work for some travelers but I found it lacking in amenities that would make the stay a bit nicer. It was clean, but the pool was not open ...

„We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough “
