I had high expectations for our stay here, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet the mark for us. While we knew there wouldn’t be a full breakfast on Saturdays because the listing specified that, it was unclear that the Sunday breakfast would only be a yogurt parfait and a muffin which was disappointing. Additionally, the listing mentioned complimentary snacks in the room, but we didn’t find any, and it would have been nice to have more drinking water available. There were just two bottles in the fridge, and none downstairs.I also think it might be helpful for hosts to check with guests about preferences regarding alcohol in the fridge, as beer could potentially be triggering for those in recovery. Unfortunately, we didn’t meet the hosts during our stay, which was a bit of a letdown since other reviews mentioned enjoyable interactions with them. I did reach out through the app and via text before our stay to inquire about checking in a little early but didn’t receive a response. The room itself was cute, but could use maintenance. The curtain rods were loose, the heated floors didn’t work, and the fan was out of order. The bed mattress was quite old and sagged in the middle, which affected comfort.Overall, I think this property would be better described as an room rent with a continental breakfast, rather than a traditional Bed and Breakfast experience. It seems like it may have been wonderful in the past, but it didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the great reviews.
