« I have never experienced such a beautiful property at this price point. I was thrilled at the attention to detail with every single thing a traveler might need. Warm, cozy, close to everything and easy to get to. My only regret is I didn't have an ATV. Seems like a lot of folks did. 10 stars »

« We had an amazing getaway at The Getaway on Grindstone Lake! The cabin was perfect for just the two of us—cozy, well-stocked, and with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and the views of the lake right from the cabin were incredible.The host’s communication was fast and easy, which made the whole experience stress-free. The lake itself was absolutely perfect for swimming—clear water, a sandy bottom, and shallow enough to walk out quite a distance before it gradually deepened....

« This was perfect for our family. We ranged in age of 6 to 70 with a group of 9. We stayed the end of August and had cooler weather with some rain. We did manage to get water time in as well as fishing. The recreation room was a big hit when the weather was at its worst. The kitchen is well stocked: spices, condiments, napkins, blender, crock-pot, pots and pans, ample plates, cups, glasses etc.. The bedding was wonderful. Soft sheets and appealing decor. « By far the best cabin we’ve stayed in - very clean, necessities stocked, perfect view and access to the lake. Woke to the song of the loons, watched the eagles fish and the otters swim from the porch. Oh and the fishing wasn’t bad either! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. « The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, well stocked all the furnishings were in good shape. It was just my wife and I but we could have had a couple more people comfortably with us. We had our boat/trailer and our tow vehicle fit on the drive with room to spare. We also went downtown everyday for breakfast and dinner. It was only about 5 minutes away. We highly recommend this cabin. »

« Very nice cabin with beautiful view of lake. Pontoon that’s included is a great bonus. The only issue was there was no ladder on the pontoon as we wanted to go anchor down and jump in the lake. We found a sand bar that worked. »

« This is the cutest little cabin with a dock accessing the lake and tall pine trees surrounding it feels like wilderness but you are right in town. Hosts were very responsive, the cabin was clean and welcoming. Super place to stay while in Hayward with family. »
