« Tilly is an amazing host. Engaged but not intrusive. The property was perfect with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking can be tricky but not impossible. May just have to park around the corner. Details of facilities in the area were spot on and very useful. The Netflix went down just before we left which I would have reached out about if we were staying longer but was fine for the bulk of our stay. Would definitely return if staying in Portsmouth again. « Lots of toys and games for children and teens. Spacious layout. Lovely feel to the house. Beautiful gardens. Wonderful location so close to one of the very best beaches on the island, Steephill Cove. »

« Wow. An absolutely fabulous property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s beautifully presented and It really is so well equipped. The only thing I would mention is if you have really small dogs (we have a Border Terrier and a Jack Russell) the garden isn’t sufficiently enclosed that they couldn’t escape, but other than, it is a stunning spot for a really fantastic holiday. The owners are super-helpful and we absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone...

« We had a great time away with close friends at this property. Prior to booking this property we wanted to ensure that it fits all of our requirements. 4 bedrooms with ensuite, parking for 4 cars and close to Portsmouth. This property gave us all we wanted. We had a warm welcome upon arrival and shown around the property. Everyone enjoyed the time away. We will return to the Coach House as it fitted the requirements we wanted. « 3 generations of our family stayed here to celebrate my mums birthday and it was perfect. The house was full of character and brilliantly appointed with everything we could have needed. The garden was huge and my nieces loved rolling down the slope at the end. Beaulieu is a great location both as somewhere to visit itself but also as a base to explore from. We're already talking about when we might go back! »

« We had a pleasant stay even though the weather was bad. The house is comfortable and has everything you might need for a short holiday. The host is very pleasant and is quick to respond. The parking is a huge bonus. Would recommend if you want to stay close to Ferry port. »

« This was our second holiday here and it was just as good as the first. We spent a lot of time reading in the lounge, watching the tide come in and out, and the shipping on the Southampton Water. The house is as described, but much better than the pictures can show. It is very comfortable with plenty of seating for six people, both in the lounge and the dining area. The galley kitchen is narrow, but perfectly functional. The stairs to the top bedroom are a bit steep, but there are sturdy...

« Outside front of property could do with a garden tidy up & garage door needs attention. Gives a wrong first impression,also picture of pub called The Woolpack is nowhere near the property,picture states outside which gives a wrong impression. Overall we liked the property & it was very clean & had everything we needed. »

« Could do with some updating. For instance who put the bathroom cabinet and mirror up. Need to stand on tips of toes to shave. Also the mirror in the twin room. Shower door needs new water seal along the bottom edge - looks as though never cleaned YUK! The settees are looking very tired with holes and internal stuffing showing. The electric fire in the lounge does not work. The lounge clock has stopped. Quite a few ants on the prowl but no ant powder? If you are going to provide a 'J Cloth' then...

« A delightful little bungalow. It was warm and cosy. The enclosed garden was ideal for our pets. It was well-furnished with a coffee maker to boot. What more could we ask for! We would certainly stay there again! »

« This House was ideal for my Wife's 70th birthday last weekend, all eighteen of our family agreed and it was a great success with everyone, however, The owner does need to improve the general condition of the decoration and some fittings, they have spent a fortune on a lovely new kitchen recently so they are seriously investing in the house, it would take a very small, by comparison, investment to put Bury Villa in TOP decorative order, which it needs in places, before the negative reviews start...
