I booked this house for myself and my extended family for the Thanksgiving Holiday ‘25. From the pictures and the price tag, we were pretty disappointed in what we saw when we arrived. It is listed as a 4/3, but what they don’t tell you is that all three bedrooms upstairs share a single, and the smallest, bathroom. Also one of the upstairs “bedrooms” was a living room/game room they threw some bunch beds in. The other two bathrooms are downstairs and next to each other. Secondly, for children or the elderly, this house is very difficult to navigate. There are multiple levels on the first floor, and the most challenging part is the steps are not all the same height. The first step is higher than the rest. My daughter fell up them on our second day, at least it wasn’t my 94 y/o grandmother. Also, if you are over 6’2”, watch your head. The staircase has a low overhang.On the topic of safety, in the guest bathroom downstairs there is a small wooden door by the toilet. My 9 yo opened it and it is an electrical panel with no cover, exposed electrical. Also, to no surprise the electrical in this box is nowhere near to code with wire nuts holding wires together in the panel. I will post pictures of the safety concerns so you can see for yourself. Would be a great fish camp with buddies, it isn’t a good choice for families with little ones or with mobility issues.
