This 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom northwoods retreat sits on 14 private acres just outside Grand Rapids, Minnesota. It sleeps up to 12 guests and their four-legged pets. It is the kind of place where the group chat finally gets what it wants: everyone gets a real bed, the bathroom line actually moves, and there is a bonfire to argue around.

THE HOUSE
With 4,600+ square feet across an upper and lower level, nobody has to fight over the good couch. There is a sofa in both the upper and lower living rooms, so the crowd can spread out. Six bedrooms with fresh new carpet, four bathrooms, and a lower level with easy-care LVP flooring mean everyone has a spot to land.

The primary suite comes with a jetted soaking tub, because somebody in your group has earned it. To be clear, it is a soaking tub and not an outdoor hot tub.

The kitchen is roomy, warm, and dressed in a generous amount of cherry wood, with cookware ready for pancake mornings and big group dinners. The coffee station is there for your enjoyment.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Upper level main bedroom: king bed and a TV
Lower level main bedroom: queen bed, futon, and a TV
Lower level second bedroom: two full beds
Three more bedrooms: one full bed in each
Bonus seating: a sofa in both the upper and lower living rooms

TVS AND LAUNDRY
There are four TVs in total: one in each living room (upper and lower) plus one in each main bedroom. Movie night and "I am going to bed early" both have options. The laundry room in the lower level has laundry soap on hand, so you can pack light or wear the same flannel all week, no judgment.

OUTSIDE
Step out onto the spacious deck, then wander down to the fire pit. You have 14+ acres of quiet Minnesota to play with, which is plenty of room to stroll, fetch, or simply stare at trees in peace.

Bringing a boat or a trailer? There is ample parking for cars, boats, and trailers, so the whole fleet is welcome.

BRING THE PUPS
Pets are welcome, because vacations are better with a dog underfoot. Additional pet fee applies. Please clean up after your pup and keep an eye on them around the property, since the acreage is big and squirrels are persuasive.

THE LAKE SITUATION
Full transparency: the house is not on the lake. Wabana Lake and several other nearby lakes are a short drive away, which means lake days are easy and you still come home to a quiet, private property.

NEARBY
Head into Grand Rapids for the Mesabi Trail, the MacRostie Art Center, and cozy northwoods dining. Cedar Creek restaurant is close by, 38 Outpost is handy for gas and convenience stops, and the Nashwauk area hosts local events worth a look during your stay.

Heads up that this is rural country and food delivery services are not available at last check. Hit the grocery store before you arrive and you will be a hero.

GOOD TO KNOW
Check-in is at 3 PM and checkout is at 10 AM. Arrival is easy with a Schlage keypad for self check-in, and the address and code are sent after booking. Quiet hours run from 11 PM to 7 AM. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, well away from the house. No hunting on the property. The home runs on well and septic, so please flush only the usual suspects (toilet paper, and that is the list). Trash pickup is on Fridays.
