Located in the Plumas National Forest area, the Forest Lodge is a historic resort, hosting guests from as far back as 1917. The largest of the estates cabins - The Bunkhouse - has been newly renovated in 2025 to once again welcome families and make memories.

This large home was originally the restaurant for the historic Forest Lodge Resort when the property was active through the 1920's-1960's. Over time it was renovated into a home for the caretakers of the property and further renovated for their children into what we now affectionately call the “Bunk House”. The beautiful rustic exterior features a large wrap-around porch and landscaped grass yard, free flowing to the great outdoors. The interior has been thoughtfully updated honoring the remaining historical elements while modernizing all the creature comforts you desire for a serene getaway.

Please note this property does not offer AC, but we do have central heat. Temperatures remain moderate here in the mountains, and each room has either a ceiling fan or a floor fan.
