Overall, the listing was accurate and we genuinely enjoyed the space. The townhome is centrally located and very walkable to restaurants and bars, which was a big plus. There is a business directly next door that plays loud music until around 2 a.m.; however, once inside the home it did not disturb our sleep, so it wasn’t a major issue for us.One area where we would have appreciated more transparency was regarding the cleaning and maintenance activity during our stay. While the individual was very kind, it felt intrusive that someone had a key and would enter the home without prior notice. This became particularly uncomfortable on our checkout day. Before our confirmed checkout time, while we were actively cooking New Year’s breakfast and attempting to do laundry, the cleaning staff entered the home and began preparing for the next guests. At times, we were asked to physically move out of the kitchen—again, prior to checkout.Even after reconfirming our checkout time, the cleaning continued, and we ultimately had to eat outside due to how uncomfortable the situation felt. This experience emphasized the lack of communication and boundaries, which made our departure feel rushed and intrusive. Unfortunately, when we shared these concerns with the host, we received no response, which was disappointing, especially since we otherwise enjoyed the home.Check-in was also slightly delayed, as we had to message and call multiple times to gain access to the gate.
