« The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay. »

« Las Velas Blancas is an amazing gem nestled in Playa Grande! Our group had never been to this part of Costa Rica and the accommodations and location suited us perfectly. The cabanas are close to the surf and the waves were perfect for both beginners and advanced surfers in our group alike. « We celebrated my wifes 70th birthday here with friends and family, 15 in all. The positives: The house is lovely.. Beds were comfortable. The wildlife around the house was spectacular. The howler monkees would traipse through the trees in view of the pool area. The iguana ? and birds were also fascinating. The swimming pool was great, although overchlorinated to the point of bleaching hats etc. The golf carts were great to have. The negative: Communication with the owners/managers was horrible....
