This is the 5th time we stay at Martinique so needless to say, we love it. Sadly this was our worst experience. We walked in to find paperwork on the counter from the previous owner from 5 years ago. This is where I assumed we found the password to WiFi. Well…I was wrong so of course to me, WiFi wasn’t working. We went to turn on the TV, found 5 remotes and the one which actually turned on the TV had no batteries. I went to VRBO at that point to send the company a message and found my welcome gave me a contact number of XXX-XXX-XXXX. Well that did me a lot of good. I went back to the original paperwork on the counter and called poor Scott whom informed me that he sold the property 5 years ago and couldn’t believe they still had his contact listed. We proceeded to find batteries, get the TV on and eventually finding PASSWORD in the messaging that happened to be the wifi password. The property inspector did come after lunch to attempt to remedy the problem. This is a million dollar property. To not have working TV’s (yes multiple rooms), WiFi communication clarity, and no contact info was disheartening to say the least. Prior to coming here I asked if they had bikes, I was told no, but they have a golf cart. Well…they do have many bikes in garage along with toys, air pump, boogie boards, ect. The place was fairly well stocked with exception of plastic, kid friendly cups. They do have a griddle but no plug for it. We also received a ticket for parking in a golf cart spot.
