« The cottage has a great location to profit of the nature and peace. The view from the cottage is beautiful. And Jean is a great host. Listening and attention for her guests look important and we thank her. »

« Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in. »

« We came & stayed over the easter bank holiday as friends live 20 mins away. The location was perfect. And the owners were very friendly. Accommodating & doggy owners too. We wanted toget away from our hectic working lives and have a peaceful break with our two doggies. Plenty of walks. Definately book again. »

« The beds were comfortable and clean. There was a slight learning curve to operating the shower. The kitchen was modern clean and fully stocked. There was also an honesty bar that provided all sorts of mixed drinks and wines. The back garden could use some work and cleaning, but we enjoyed sitting under a willow tree, listening to the sounds of sheep, birds, and bees. The air was fresh, and the flowers had a pleasant fragrance. However, the dining area and living room could benefit from some...

« Really enjoyed the tranquil location and area. Beautiful Wye Valley is nearby and Tintern Abbey too..... We loved it... Excellent facilities and cleanliness. Certainly re-charged our batteries »

« Wir haben uns in dem gemütlichen Cottage sehr wohlgefühlt. Der wunderbar bepflanzte Garten war riesig und stand uns komplett zur Verfügung, inkl. zweier Terrassen mit herrlicher Aussicht. Das Cottage war sehr wohnlich eingerichtet und wertig ausgestattet. Check-in und Check-out waren unkompliziert, die Vermieter nett und unaufdringlich. »

« What a fantastic discovery! The cottage was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The lovely front patio provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views while watching the sunset. We had no issues parking the car outside the property, and the communication with the owner, Meryl, was excellent. We would definitely love to return! »

« We could not have enjoyed our stay at the Ciderhouse Cottage any more! It was perfect for our needs, very clean, comfortable and practical without any unnecessary frills. The setting is wonderful and there is plenty of access to great local pubs, restaurants, shops in Monmouth while you can retreat to your own little cottage far from the noisy world. Dave was a wonderful host and especially kind and forbearing with my teenage daughters who showed a keen interest in his farm and Nell, the farm...

« Property was spot on. The owners provided use of the garage opposite which was more than enough room to store our 3 motorbikes. The property was lovely, quant and had everything we could need for our 3 day motorbike tour of Wales. There we could walk to a very nice pub and shop in Gilwern which took only about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely quiet cottage around the Brecons. »

"Nous sommes un peu déçus… l’hôtel est en fait attenant au manoir et non dans le manoir. Nos chambres n’étaient pas très propres (draps salis, rideaux déchirés, trace de nourriture présente sur la moquette) mais spacieux (les enfants avaient leur propre chambre attenante). La piscine est un peu vieillotte. Le personnel est discret, poli mais un peu trop détaché des besoins des clients."

"L'accueil et le service pourrait être améliorés. Il y a très peu d'options pour déjeuner et dîner aux alentours, et sans pouvoir se déplacer en voiture, les repas sont très répétitifs mais aussi chers. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de service de restauration sur place ou, au moins, un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre. C'est un hôtel de bon standing, propre mais à ce tarif, un petit réfrigérateur devrait être installé de base dans les chambres. De plus, le téléviseur était un modèle ancien et de taille réduite... On espère mieux pour ce type d'hôtel et ce tarif. Dommage. "
