Rooms are clean, but very small. Even the deluxe room we rented for additional money was quite small
• WIFI was basically dysfunctional in the room. Would connect but no bandwidth - maybe someone else was hogging the net, but for us it was Dysfunctional
• the breakfast is very very marginal. for koreans there is ramen soup. Some fried sausages and some tomatoes. Some bread, butter, and jelly. Nothing else. For westerners there are 2 frying pans and raw eggs. Nothing to really make an omlette. No knives to cut some tomatoes or the sausage….
• no tea at breakfast, just coffee.
• breakfast area is like a kitchenette in a small apartment - ineffecient and crowded.
• at the buffet there is always something missing - either bread or sausages.
• Insted of a larger kitchen there is a 2 huge TV projection system running k-pop 24/7 .
• Korean breakfast staff does not speak English at all - nothing.
• The highlight are the Philippino staff who speak the best English in the whole staff. They are kind and helpful.
• towels in the bathroom are smaller than standard US hand towels.
• No tea in the room
• AC usage requires Korean language skills. We could not make it work the first night and got almost stifled. My wife had to leave the room in the middle of the night to catch fresh air.

• Don’t be misled by the name Giverny and expect something special
• Our room upgrade was definitely not worth it
