« Wonderful place to stay! »

« We had a great three night stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The main road is busy, but the backyard is private and large. We were able to take advantage of the picnic area with fire pit, which is at the end of a woodsy path. Acadia is a bit of a drive, but there are are also plenty of things to do closer by. The beds are very comfortable. It would be nice to have night stands and reading lamps on both sides of the queen and king beds. I recommend this house for family getaways. »

« This was our third year renting in Ellsworth for a basketball tournament and the 2nd one with Cale. Three families enjoyed this wonderful house. The teenagers enjoyed their own area that included a bathroom and living room. There was also plenty of room for all of us to gather in the main living room and t the dining room. The updated kitchen was just beautiful. The hot tub was an added bonus!! »

« The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea). Furniture is not very comfortable for TV watching. Also when looking at the photos it appeared the water was closer than a mile or so away. Also was not expecting to have to take the trash to the road, strip beds, start laundry or make sure everything was wiped down. What was my cleaning fee for? « What the house lacks in amenities is made up for by the location. This rustic property sits on the shore, blessed by the most beautiful scenery and sunsets. The house has everything you need, just very basic. »
