« Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. »

« Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. « Le personnel était toujours à l'écoute. Après notre première nuit nous avons demandé à changer de chambre pour notre convenance personnelle, et cela a été fait. A notre départ nous avions oublié quelque chose dans notre chambre, et un membre du personnel a couru à notre voiture pour nous le remettre! « The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. The door to our room you could close from the inside with a hard shove but you couldn’t close from the outside so we couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room.
